4 am and I’m up massaging my thigh

OK... Get you some loose leaf Gynostemma Tea. Not in tea bags. Get the loose leaf and use a tea infuser.

Works on chronic pain like yours. No side effects, just pain will be gone. Drink it daily.

I googled this and am giving it a shot. Thank you for the advice. Did you use it during a particular part of the day (i.e. morning or night)?

I used to drink it in the morning. Don't know if evening makes a difference but may take like two to three days to build up in your system.

You'll know how well it works if you stop taking it and a few days later your pains returns.

An eight year old jumped down from a wall into my arms on Thursday and I buckled and felt it instantly in my back. I should have iced it immediately but I didn't start until the next night (last night). I sneezed in bed yesterday morning and it hurt a bit. Sneezed this morning in bed and didn't feel anything so that's good.

I had a really bad problem similar to the OP this time last year but I have felt great since January. I'm hoping to stamp this out and return to my exercise routine soon, at least jump roping. The tea and some proper ice/hot packs with a wrap are arriving Monday, can't get here quick enough.

Bruh, my goal is dunk again at 50. I am on my journey to get back to 250. The wifey said I am still cool because I am 6'6 but fuck that shit. This 345 is for the birds. I am still strong as an ox. I can still hit 315 and I haven't lifted since April.

I’ve been laid up for about a month now. Started with sciatica pain. Totally my fault.

Lots of projects to do at round the house. My wife knows a bunch of handymen from Jamaica that work for reasonable rates so we hire them.

Anyway some young whippersnappers are working. Even though I’m 50, I’ve got that old man strength. And I also want these dudes to work faster. I turn our work into Olympic Games.

One of the contests was to throw wood. Some pieces were like ten feet long. Throwing them at least 30 feet. Another contest was how many times could you curl cinder blocks in a minute.

I was cool for a few days after. Then the pain started in my back. I’ve had intermittent back pain for years. Not as bad as the past. I’m not tripping.

I’m in the jacuzzi sometimes. Hitting the steam room and sauna because coronavirus was heating up. After about two weeks I’m about healed. I start doing back stretches and bends while lying on the bed.

Next morning, my leg hurts. Again I’m not tripping. Long story much shorter now. What started as a sciatic nerve impingement became an L3 impingement. This caused spasms in 4 parts of my right thigh.

I’m on Percocet, they upped my daily dosage of Valium from 10 To 40 mg, another muscle relaxer and 800 mg ibuprofen.

At some points I wondered if I would walk again. So much pain. Couldn’t crawl couldn’t walk. I was pissing in zip lock bags. My wife wanted me to shit in a bedpan. I don’t like shutting around people.

days ago, I used my arms to drag my body to the toilet. Then I started crawling days later. I started slowly walking 2 days ago. I haven’t tried stairs though.

I eat less because going to the bathroom is such a hassle. I wish I was working on my cases. Or going outside. Anything other than being trapped on my mat.

Anyway, I certainly view life differently now. Will certainly take a lot less things for granted. I prayed a lot. I don’t like the drugs but they are a necessary evil.

That’s why I’m up at 4 am massaging my right thigh.

Ah Percocet the good stuff.

I'll be sending you a PM.

Hope you're doing better, bruh...

Like a few others, I was  ...that was them meds typing..

Once a man hits 50, your body let's you know when you fucked up...lil aches and pains come outta nowhere and can become big pains.

I had a gout flare-up 2 weeks ago. I manage it pretty well without medication, but when a full blown flare-up hits...:smh:
Teaspoon of baking soda in a tall glass of water twice a day... only had to do once... got rid of that Gout for me

I tried it and this is true.

I wonder if pain returning once you stop taking it means it's just masking it. Or how long that is true for-- if you drink it for a month and stop will the pain be back three days later? What if you drank it for four months or six?

It will return, all it does is mask the pain. It does not repair or heal you.

For that I'd look into Comfrey Root. It heals damaged tissue after breaks or sprains faster. But have to treat the area for months with it.

Just ordered this for under $7. I had a flare-up about 2 months ago and I'm not taking any chances.

I had a pain in my hip then turned to pain going up both legs , dr. did a MRI and x Ray's they came back negative for sciatica, he said it was a pinched nerve and it would go away.... it took a year to get better.
What up V?

Still Good?
They gave me a packet of exercises and stretches to perform. It was like a pamphlet of illustrated characters doing various positions and motions.. I remember one of the most effective ones being a position where you do a lunge like stance against the wall.. Almost as if you wear pushing the wall away from you... Hands against wall, Front leg bent and back leg straight.. and then alternate. That was good for stretching quads, hams, and back..

New routine to add on.

I’ve lost about 30 pounds since this trauma. All I do is work from home, work out, and work around the house. Sweets only one day a week.

I’m averaging about 4500 calories a day and 12,000 steps.

You ever get an inversion table? Hope you still going strong on this one.
