That was my same reaction. Rooted for Lawler, but only gave him one round, the last one. It could be argued that he won the first round (debatable), but Hendrix certainly won rounds 2-4, no question. So....Merry Xmas Lawler. We know a 3rd match is coming up now.

I'm happy for Robbie, but the judge who scored it 49-46 must be CJ Ross, same judge who scored a draw for Mayweather vs Canelo and a win for Bradley vs Pacquiao...

weird judging to this fight
I dont see how the one judge gave lawler 4rds to 1 rd for hendricks

Rounds 1 and 5 for Lawler... maybe.. I can't really remember him doing much in between other than that front kick. Hendricks was doing too much legs grabbing then leaning.. I'm happy for Lawler though

I'm trying to calculate HOW they came up with t the score, based on the actual fight. The very MOST I can see is round 1 and 5, Robbie. I need to see those cards, man. Hendricks has got to feel sick.:confused:

Yeah ... combat sports sure are something with the scorecards. Have a good night, everyone. Got the DVR set for the post-fight press conference. You can catch it on Youtube and also over at UFC.com (if memory serves correctly) ... and in Canada they are airing it on The Fight Network, and on Sportsnet 360 (they usually cut into the evening sports centre-type show) or Sportsnet One.

strangely I agree with him..I don't think he was being a dick. It's hard work to get to carry that shit. Only my son would be able to take a picture alone with the belt and I don't have a son..anybody else would have to get a replica.

This is one there needs to be a clause somewhere that says if you're judging the fight "wildly differently" from the other 2 judges, you need to be able to logically explain why the OTHER two judges were wrong with how they're judging. If not, then you banned from judging for "X years" while you're forced to take seminars for "X years" about judging MMA bouts.

You can tell how many people/press/fighters wanted Robbery Lawler to win, because there's no huge wave of outrage over the decision. Either they don't like Hendricks or they don't like Hendricks' fight plan of picking Robbery off on the outside and smothering him on the inside. Besides the first minute of the first round and the last minute of the 5th round, Robbery couldn't get off. Dana seems like he's more interested in contriving a trilogy than having a dominant champion.
