UFC 199: Rockhold vs. Bisping II - Sat., June 4th (Los Angeles)

Other feedback ...

- Poirier's record has been quite good in recent years - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dustin_Poirier#Mixed_martial_arts_record

- Get Max Holloway his title belt soon - he's earned it - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Holloway#Mixed_martial_arts_record

- Henderson highlight-reeling muthafuckas in his mid-40s and shit

- Jessica Andrade has some hands on her at 115lbs. Fun to watch. Feel bad for her opponent Jessica Penne - got her ass kicked tonight, and also last year vs. current champ Joanna J'

- For those that missed Beneil Dariush vs. James Vick on the televised prelims ... go back and check that one. Quick fight, but exciting

- Caceres vs. Miller was a fun scrap leading off the televised prelims too ...

- Dom Cruz's last loss was nearly 10 years ago (March 2007) against Faber ... the same guy he's beaten twice since, and no one deserves to go through all the injuries and surgeries + rehab that he has. That shit derailed his life and career for 4 years, and he comes back with big wins over Mizugaki, Dillashaw & Cali Kid ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dominick_Cruz#Ultimate_Fighting_Championship

Anderson Silva should be screaming for a rematch with Bisping. He could've beaten Bisping decisively, but refused to pull the trigger. This is his clearest path to getting that belt back and retiring champion. No title defense. Just retire champ, instead of Fedor'ing your legacy. I think that all or nothing, 'retire, win or lose' angle would sell.

I hear you, fam'. It's been hard following the careers of Fedor & Silva in recent years.

UFC might give Rockhold a rematch or give it to Chris Weidman at Madison Square Garden

No doubt. That NYC card is gonna hit big later this year once they figure out the card placement. They just need to be careful with Weidman (or have someone on standby to replace him). Mike Bohn @ MMAJunkie and USAToday was saying that Weidman has pulled out of 4 - 5 main or co-mains in the past 2 years.

Truth be told, Weidman's injury might not totally end his career, but he won't be the same fighter after that neck surgery. I wouldn't bank on him carrying the MW division. That division needs a great storyline that's just not there right now.

Agreed. He's had a good number of injuries over the years, and necks are no joke.

Shoulders and hands are one thing.

But when it comes to necks, knees, CTE and more ... be careful.

I highly doubt Rockhold gets an immediate rematch after tonight's performance--he pretty much fucked that up. Also, no one cares about a rematch between him and Weidman if neither one of them has the strap. Rockhold really fucked himself tonight.

If they don't give the rematch to Rockhold then it will be Bisping vs Weidman.

Cosign. Since Silva is done that division is an open book

2nd round was closer butstill domination by Holloway

yup...good fight, Holloway is a beast.

These boys came to fight tonight. Lots of good fights and we still haven't gotten to faber/Cruz.

LOVED THE WAY THEY ENDED THE FIGHT

Clearly, Dan Henderson doesn’t believe in a "one punch" KO. That muthsfucka will get in some highly unnecessary extra hits on your ass if the ref doesn't jump in the quick enough. And I see Bisping did the same shit to Rockhold that Henderson did to him.

 Yeah....Dan is like a pitbull once he sees that he rocked his opponent. Fuckin' Bisbing was trying to injure Rockhold if you ask me. He threw some hard ass shots when Luke was clearly knocked out. That's the main reason you CAN NOT have female refs for male fights. Some of these refs have to basically tackle some of these guys to get them off the downed fighter.

I've always hated Bisping. So, imagine my surprise when I found myself involuntarily cheering for him to keep cheaply beating Rockhold's smug face in while he was defenseless. You know how much of a douchebag you have to be to make me root for Michael the Cunt Bisping against you??? I'm glad as fuck Rockhold lost, and in humiliating fashion. Now, I just want a Silva rematch. So, Silva can retire champion.
