I was at Apple Bees watching the fight tonight, not online this time.

That Jake Shields/Martin Kampman fight was bullshit. Kampman was robbed. He was beating Jake Shields. Shields did not look as impressive as he's been doing in Strikeforce.

Gabriel Gonzaga sucks. He was being beat by that Schaub fellow. I think Gonzaga needs to call it quits. He's been losing fight after fight. I do see Schaub losing to the next tougher opponent cause Gonzaga seemed to be somewhat of a challenge for him, and Gonzaga sucks.

Brock Lesnar always had his size and power to cover up his lack of technique. But, he was exposed tonight. He could not trade with or really take Cain down.

I don't think JDS is going to beat Cain. I see both fighters and I feel Cain is better at striking, body power, and endurance. I think Shane Carwin can beat Cain if Carwin practices on his cardio more.

As for light heavyweights, I see Shogun beating Evans then fighting Jon Jones where he will lose. I don't see Jackson beating Machida.

Some fighters are ALL offense.Once you get them on the defense,they wilt.Brock is an example,Tito is another.Notice Tito came out hard until he got hit.Once he got hit,he slowed down.GREAT fighters get better under pressure.Jake Shields was gassed but won on heart.When he got rocked by Kampman,he didnt curl up into a ball.No,he shot in on Kampman and kept pressure until he kept his head.You can't teach that.

seriously, people bringing up the sickness bullshit need to just stop.

lesnars problem is that he never got punched in the mouth until a couple years ago. knowing how to react to another man hitting you is something that you develop over years, not something you just learn training a couple hours a day with other wrestlers etc.

that fight was amazing and im glad i was proven incorrect.

Words cannot express how infuriated I am that Mud Pride beat Brock. It's not just that the mestizo beat a powerful nordic white man, but the sight of all those faggy mexican flags ... some of them being held up by white people - it sickens me.

I was actually starting to kind of like Brock after his apparent attitude change, and to see him get mauled like that is just sad. But then to see the mexifags waving their flag raised my rage to levels it shouldn't be at sitting at my desk at home. We would never be able to support a white fighter with racial solidarity without being called any number of names. But everyone is just hunky-dory to go along with mud pride and his racial fans. Sometimes I crave a w... nevermind - this is too public to post what I'm feeling after being inundated with mexican flags and latino bullsht. The hypocrisy will stoke the flames vengeance.

I knew Brock was overhyped from day one, but he was starting to win me over (especially with the kick-ass beard) and I was hoping he could beat Cain. But technique beat brawn this time. Perhaps he'll be back. Who knows. But now it's time to find someone to kick Cain's ass.

Brock and Cain are both great fighters, on a world class level. There aren't three people in the world that can beat Brock. He will be back.

No HW Champ holds the belt for more than a couple of fights. Cain has a tough job in holding the belt, and meeting expectations and pressure.

Brock and Cain will both pull $3mil+ in the rematch. If Brock takes it, the rubber match will be even bigger.

And as for the UFC, this is probably the BEST possible growth and money making scenario. Win win win.

And Brock will be back, and will hold the belt again. Believe it.

honestly, I can see how the UFC hyping the "brown pride" thing could alienate a lot of people.

I understand they were in San Diego and wanted to sell tickets to mexicans but they went overboard with the "Aztec Warrior" vs. the Viking thing.

there is always a strong racial element when two guys from different racial groups are fighting for a belt in the fight game

there was no need to pump it up the way they did.

Cain vs Dos Santos is too close to call.
both guys are great strikers and unlike brock
Dos Santos can take a punch.

Calling Brock a viking was started by either Joe Rogan or Brock himself before this fight was even signed..they just started with the Aztec shit to go along with it. If you are running a combat sports business and know how many Latinos boxing pulls you have no choice but to run with it when you have an undefeated challenger with Brown Pride tatted on his chest. Fuck it! I'll admit I was completely wrong about Cain. Cain took everything Brock had at the start of that fight and said "Is that all you got? Some flying knees and some weak ass take downs..." :smh:

By then Brock was gassed and didn't know what the fuck to do.


Seeing Brock makes you really appreciate all of the true warriors out there in MMA that can get hit with a big shot and still keeping fighting and still keeping coming forward for more.

Until Brock gets some more heart and learns not to panic so much when he gets dazed a little, he will always be one good punch in the face away from wanting to give up in the middle of a fight.


Also why the hell doesn't Brock ever just pin a dude up against the fence and start throwing just some elbows and punches when he can't get take downs?

Brock needs to stop the weights and get back to the basics of Boxing or any other form of striking...

he looked way too uncomfortable getting hit....and a natural born fighter knows he's going to get hit...maybe multiple times in order to land hits of his own.....

I don't know what he was thinking in those exchanges with Cain....

and that game plan was terrible....and dude seemed gassed way to early....he needs to switch camps or get a ton of sparring in striking.....

his reaction to flee speaks volumes when it comes to his stand up training.....

Lesnar don't lift weights. He controls his weight calorically. Lesnar doesn't like getting hit in the face, whoe does, but it's his reaction that cost. Yeah Lesnar was tired early as hell, like I said, Brock ain't been the same.

Brock still lifts fam....on Primetime he was lifting heavy at times....I just think he needs work on his weaknesses...which is game planing and striking....

next at 33 I don't see Brock being great in MMA....dude didn't even try to pull guard when Cain was on top of him twice....he just got in a fetal position....

when he got rock instead of countering...or going for a TD...or hanging in there he ran outta there....

and again had NO response on his back....

he better change camps or get more serious with his standup....it doesn't look good for his future...

I noticed that too. Despite his camps claim that he is in the best shape of his life having dropped 15 lbs. He looks to be the same bodyfat.

Brock doesn't gas this early. So now he has less gas, and less size and strength? That illness fucked him up. His camp has been blowing smoke up everybody's ass with this new "leaner and meaner" comeback lesnar.

The fact is his body can't support him being 280+ no more due to that illness. His big advantage is gone. Along with 15 pounds o lean body mass he has lost endurance. There is not telling how much strength he has lost.

A man that size needed a year easy to just let his body get back to full strength, if it could. Him being gassed so early(we never seen him like that) shows his body is fighting back telling him to sit his ass down somewhere and recover.
