Dear Black People, all of "our" celebrities share Denzel's position on race etc...

Between Denzel refusal of also naming systemic racism and this thing with the little inbred cac kid Keaton, I just wanted to point out that we don't really have a bunch off people on TV and the internets that really give a fuck about us.
When it's a "Black" issue its all crickets and victim blaming. But let a white tear get dropped and its "massa is we sick". This is a problem.

Someone tweeted that there are more Black athletes that backed that sloth looking cac child than there were who showed support for Kaepernick. Sadly this true. We got Black celebrities showing support sight unseen. Meanwhile we have actual BLACK children who were victims to the system and actual bullying who have DIED! Again jiminy crickets.

White tears are greater than Black blood in the eyes of many of our people. BGOL's legendary poster @playahaitian is running a sickle cell awareness campaign. He revealed that he has contacted many famous Black people in order to help spread a message about an ailment that affects around 90% of its victims who are of African descent.
Contrast this with ALS, something that only affects around 10% of our people, and every Black person on my timeline was dumping ice water on their heads in order to bring awareness.

I guess what I'm saying is we have no white friends and hardly no people on TV and radio who give a damn about regular Black folk. Stop the worship and hold these people accountable. For every Jesse Williams who are unapologetically Black, we have a dozen lil Wayne's who say Black... "people aint got shit to do with me".
Ivory tower much bro?

Be our own hero's and build our people up from the ground up. Volunteer a weekend with your little nephews and nieces. If you're one of our BGOL bosses hire someone who looks like you.

You didn't need to post the women, we're intelligent and focused enough to address topics without the need for women in every thread. I did see some nice asses though.

All that fake shit gotta go!!! Anyway, good topic!! Where can I find Denzil comments at??

It’s a white supremacist talking point that tells incomplete truths or half the story. Brainwashed negroes who swing on the nuts of black celebrities love this type of rhetoric.

From what I see on BGOL its brainwashed negroes who swing on the nuts of black celebrities who get the deepest in their feelings when their favorite celebs say similar things :dunno:

It’s tough. I remember pointing out that Jay-Z was not a true owner of the Nets but a figurehead for gentrification cats lost they shit. It’s a weird dynamic where people get so emotional they are blinded by the obvious. If you watch these black celebs critically they will tell you exactly what the deal is. A chick was shocked when I told her that Tamron Hall as gone on record as refusing to speak on black issues.

Let the record reflect that he was excellent in Malcolm X and never wore dress though.

Right on, write on!!! And denzil deserves a big FUCK YOU!!

I loved it when Steve Harvey & Kanye felt the heat after they posed with Trump... Ray Lewis got slapped up too...

I don't expect many black celebrities to identify or even sympathize with our plight as black people. They simply move with the trend of things in effort to appear "hip" or knowing "what's up". But fake as fuck. Keaton boy is prime example.

Only exception I'll give is to Jesse Williams or any other woke black celebrity.

A lot of them have that "I'm not black I'm OJ" syndrome. They've been living a life of privilege for so long it has changed their identity. They will swear up and down they are black and proud when it counts to say it but truth is they don't know what being black even entails anymore. They will jump on the bandwagon of any black movement in show of support but their thoughts and ideas are not with us.

They go along to get along and show partiality toward everyone but black in effort to appear equal at the expense of black people.

fuck Denzel...and fuck black so-called celebrities. My favorite black celebrity is John Henrik Clarke!

This!

White people think when you love yourself you hate them. No, when I love myself they become irrelevant to me.

Powerful people cannot afford to educate the people that they oppress, because once you are truly educated, you will not ask for power. You will take it.

History is not everything, but it is a starting point. History is a clock that people use to tell their political and cultural time of day. It is a compass they use to find themselves on the map of human geography. It tells them where they are but, more importantly, what they must be.

We will have taken one giant step forward when we face this reality: Powerful people never teach powerless people how to take their power away from them.

Which is why I don't stan for no human beings unless they directly effect my life. Why cape for someone that doesn't know I exist

Man up and pea straight...Denzel spoke his truth. Shit does begin in the home, this is where the family strategize against an oppressive system.

Cats got listen to understand and not to respond. Especially when what's being said rings true. The only thing guaranteed in this life is how our fates will end, so use the limited time we all have pushing it forward for those we love by not only be providers, but also nurtures. What one does not nurture properly at home, (e.g. son, daughter, wife) will be nutured outside of the home.
