Yeah. It seemed to correct itself within a month, and hasn’t since returned. Knock on wood. It was intense. I made sure to rest up as best as possible and slowly do stretching and resistance exercises as I began to feel better. Moved really gingerly when up and about so as not to further aggravate the area. It was that kind of pain when lying down that you had to find the exact position for comfort. If you jostled or coughed you were like fuuuuuuuck. Reminds me - need to get back into stretching more. Had a good routine going for awhile.

Fuck fam. Those backs ain't nothing to fuck with. My back is good as long as I stay under 300. My fucking knee though cuts up sometimes.

The few times if feel that disc touch that nerve I will wait a few days then do some burpees to relieve the pressure off the nerve. Something about the burpees decompresses my back.

Squats the most I throw on the bar is 350 but im rep them hoes. Deadlifts i will throw 450 to 500. Romainian around 225 to 250.

But they all will strengthen the front, sides and back of the core. Without them I would be in pain daily.

Left knee started hurtin. Then because of over compensating for the knee, got hit wit plantar fasciitis in the right foot.

I have a disc protrusion, C5-C6, that has my index & thumb numb & tingling on left hand. Its starting on my right hand sometimes periodically, too.

I got a new bed, Purple Hybrid, so I been sleeping better, but you're right, sometimes when I laid down the nerve pain got worse. I would toss & turn.

I'm looking forward to it healing so I can start back being more active. All this being ginger aint what's up for when its time to do man work

Agreed man. All the best with the healing and recovery. And pain management along the way. It’s strange how even in a rest state the body will still talk to us. I remember lying there thinking - “why can’t I zone out and just get a nap in? I’m super comfortable. But the body still won’t just chill.” That Purple Hybrid bed sounds good. Oh speaking of pain - noticed on FB the other day one of my HS friends is getting neck surgery next week. Gonna send her a note with some well wishes. Her mom worked at the hosp’ when my grandpa had a long stay back in the day. She and her mom checked in on us a few times after the fact to see if our family was good. Nice people.

Real shit. Simple tasks like getting up off the sofa I feel pain & discomfort in knees, back, neck... smh

I don't like this shit man, I'm used to being able body. I been going for 2 mile walks last couple days, did it twice yesterday.

I think it come from not being active for a period, then getting back into it and the body lost conditioning & some range of motion. Driving everywhere, long periods of sitting, sedentary lifestyle man.. just gotta keep moving.
