Well fuck; all he was worth was a 6th rounder? Wow! Hell Hunt should have been signed if this was the move.

Trade was trash for the Bears

1. Eagles run the same damn offense

2. Traded Howard at the bare minimum of his worth

3. No usable draft capital for this year

4. Made a potential playoff contender better

5. You HAVE to draft a RB now

Just a bad trade all around. Something had to have happened

Yep. It was definitely a “he’s burned a bridge too many and needs to be gone NOW” type move. As a 5th rounder still on a rookie deal, financially it made no sense even if he wasn’t going to be resigned after 2019. Even not being a fit in the offense per se, he’s still a solid runner and a bruising back who can, contrary to popular belief, catch the ball. I agree with you; bad deal for Chicago; steal for Philly :smh:.

Bruh I have no idea how good he can be, like dude said, he's inconsistent. One thing we all have to remember is he didn't play a lot of football in college. I'm not sold yet but he seems like he wants to get better and the other thing is, he's not Jay Cutler lol. From everything I've been hearing he's much improved as far as knowing the playbook. This is the year where he should go to another level, if not then he may just be an average to below average NFL quarterback.

This might be one of those cases where dude is a better pro player than college player. I'm still surprised he went no. 2 overall playing at carolina..dude was terrible...but i think he was drafted off of potential more than his actual number because he played in Fedora's system..sort of like Daniel Jones..drafting on potential

Let me know when jimmy starts a playoff game

I’ll wait

Let me know when Mitchell actually WINS a playoff game?
I'll wait :hmm:
And Rex Grossman has started & won playoff games before
So does that make him better than Mitchell?
One single playoff appearance, does not make a good QB

What do you guys think of us not playing key players in the preseason?

A lot of teams are doing that now
The 49ers only played their key players just a few series for game #2, and less than 2 quarters for game #3
And I think the Rams sat their key players all 3 games of the preseason
Teams are starting to realize its not worth risking injury
OTA & training camp practice for the starters, Preseason games for the backups & bubble guys
