Welp Trubisky def played like shit and I think Nagy called a shit game. Hopefully this makes them better going forward. It's a long season, but we can't waste this defense by scoring single digits with all the talent we have at WR and RB, coached by an alleged offensive genius.
A genius with a decent O Line and three RBs whose throwing on 3rd and a half yard inside his own 25. Just horrible execution.
And they traded up to get this guy. As I said on draft day, big mistake.
If he's not the answer, the time to move on is now while he's still under his rookie deal and while Hicks and Mack are still relatively young. What's the answer though? Kaep wouldn't be the answer, rust , controvery and some of the same lack of field vision issues Mitch has. FreE agent Bradford? There's maybe a less than 5% chance he can rejuvenate his career and be a modern day Plunkett. He's made so much money would he be motivated? Are Bucs gonna move on from Winston? Ryan Pace did like Mariota, but is that an upgrade from Trubs? One of the 9ers backups-Beathard or Mullens? Eli Manning?
Whats pitiful is with 130 teams in the FBS and 126 in the FCS they can not find 32 quality college QBs for the NFL. With NFL QBs playing at least 10 years there is no way there should not be 64 Qbs ready to play at any time. These blue chip college qbs are trash and the NFL can not evaluate talent.
All that to say Trubisky is trash.
Just cause a coordinator worked for a good coach it does not make you successful. Like all coaches under Belichek they were all terrible head coaches.
