Everybody has a bad game and he can turn it around, but Mitch looked terrible. He is playing scared and throwing way too many back shoulder passes. Because they are safe. The play calling sucked too, but was that because of how the QB was playing or the coach just calling a shit game?

This looks like a good year to get a franchise QB, but the bears are not likely to give up yet. And will probably regret it.

Trade for Teddy Bridgewater ASAP!!! Mitch doesn't have that "It" factor. It doesn't appear he has the natural instinct for a desire to win at all costs. Would any great quarterback run a play they knew was destined to fail? 2 missed 3rd and 1 with gimmicks and bs - any other qb would have the balls to say to their coach let's run something else. I love the bears but we don't look like a playoff team now. In fact we have 2 subpar QBs starter and back up.

If he's not the answer, the time to move on is now while he's still under his rookie deal and while Hicks and Mack are still relatively young. What's the answer though? Kaep wouldn't be the answer, rust , controvery and some of the same lack of field vision issues Mitch has. FreE agent Bradford? There's maybe a less than 5% chance he can rejuvenate his career and be a modern day Plunkett. He's made so much money would he be motivated? Are Bucs gonna move on from Winston? Ryan Pace did like Mariota, but is that an upgrade from Trubs? One of the 9ers backups-Beathard or Mullens? Eli Manning?

The answer is to stop being racist and stop going out of your way to find potential in white mediocrity.

They passed over Watson who was easily a better player who dominated NFL level competition and Mahomes who had far more potential greatness to trade up and draft a one year mediocre starter from Carolina.

Fuck them. They deserve what they get.

And to be fair to him, the coaches made him look even worse with that ridiculous play calling. White incompetence all around.

Montgomery has fantastic body control and angling and great footwork.

Defense is all we have to keep us in these games because offense; seems like Nagy’s gimmicks have been figured out and we have no vertical game.

Seeing what Mahomes is doing makes me hate Trubisky even more.
