"the only way to beat me is to avoid me, or hold on for dear life"-Nick Diaz..the problem with that is a win is a win...and The Gracie camp is living off of pure talent and has no idea of how to teach the Diaz brothers to win a fight against someone that won't engage them straight up. Opponents just lure them into zombie mode where they get frustrated at the lack of aggression of their opponents..meanwhile the clock ticks away and the points add up to a loss on their part. There is no way in hell GSP is dumb enough to give up his Ric Flair lifestyle just to prove some macho point. Their loyalty to Ceasar Gracie is what gives them a ceiling as fighters. It would take a miracle for Diaz to not lose via decision..and even though he can lose due to cuts, it would take a bigger miracle for him to lose via ko or tko.

As the podcasters often joke ... it's hard to get amped up for Fletcher/Ricci and Camozzi/Ring-type fights on the main card of PPVs. They sort of all blend together (especially Camozzi and Ring fights). Let's bring the action, Hendricks-Condit ... Ellenberger-Marquardt & GSP-Diaz.

i've noticed that when its a strong main event, dana company set up a less than stellar undercard. It makes sense from a business standpoint. Why waste good undercard pairings when GSP/Diaz pretty much sells itself but I've been completely tuned so far.

You can't get caught along the fence ... hands down ... with Ellenberger sizing you up with power punches. And then ... complain (Marquardt) about the stoppage afterward. Ellenberger's a tough dude.

True. It's funny how Joe Silva and company line up the cards. Often the PRELIMS are better than 1 or 2 of the main card ones. Camozzi-Ring aren't main card quality (even despite their experience in the UFC). Camozzi's on a 4-fight win streak and all ... but essentially is unmemorable in victory. Would rather have seen COTE-VOELKER on the main card, but they were chosen for high-paced action as the final prelim leading into the main card
