►►► OFFICIAL UFC 154 - GSP / CONDIT - November 17th, 2012 - Montreal

GSP has the most to lose. Silva loses to Jones, he's still a legend and fans will say Jones had a size/age advantage. Jones loses to Silva, he's got many years to redeem himself and he'll have lost to the greatest MMA fighter of all times. GSP loses to Silva, he's on the back end of his career with a barely repaired body and series of decision fights. There's not as much bounce-back for him. Condit Elephant Man'd GSP's head in a match GSP "dominated". He needs to stay away from Silva, unless he wants that to be his retirement fight.

true but he also has the most to gain... he beats silva and he cannot fall off that pedestal even if he tried... with that said he cannot beat silva unless silva beats himself

Sanchez and Diaz fought at the Ultimate Fighter 2 finale back in November 2005.

Finally saw the fight, damn good one, Condit got a lucky shot, but GSP was in top shape and used his smarts to win, simple as that.:cool:

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Sanchez talking big shit! Never liked this dude tho... hope Diaz takes him down.

I've always respected Sanchez in that he's intense & eccentric. He's faced some battles outside of the cage ... has had highs (winning TUF 1 at 185lbs, even though he's pretty much always fought at 170 and 155lbs in the 7 years since) ... he went 25 mins with BJ Penn in their title fight and got his ass kicked but never gave up. Has had Fight of the Nights ... some all-out brawls ... ran a highlight film clinic on Clay Guida in their war, etc. Watched him live in California in Oct. 2010 against Paulo Thiago and in the 2nd or 3rd round he picked that guy up and yelled as he took a few steps and slammed him (and had been losing that fight previously). Shit like that. He's a wildman :D:lol:

Dude has heart and fights well but I just don't like his personality... fuck him is how I feel about him. :lol:

But I'm just some guy with an opinion and you know what they say about those.

It's all good, man. I hear you. I wasn't as much of a fan earlier on ... but like how he was cleaned up his life over the years (got married/started a family/kicked drugs to the side/got more involved in religion & distanced himself from some of his past associates - got ripped off for well over $100 or 200,000 by a former business partner / a woman claimed he fathered her child / he helped raise the child only to later find out it wasn't his per DNA testing, etc). Also that warrior spirit ... those fights against Martin Kampmann and BJ Penn sold me in recent years. He looks like he'd give his life out there. Not a single fuck was given as he got smashed up.

damn..where has Diego been?

He gave 1 or 2 really good interviews on the various mma podcasts out there. Basically just mentioned all types of stuff in his life in recent years. The key ones being:

- Got embezzled by a scam artist associate for $175,000
- Spent plenty of time partying
- Blew through his money quite quickly (drugs/alcohol)
- Fell into a slump after the serious beating he took in the title fight with BJ Penn in 2009
- Woman claimed he fathered her child. He helped raise the boy. Turns out she was lying, and it wasn't his kid.
- Now he's married and doing well (someone else) and I can't quite recall if they have a kid yet or not, but he's back on track ... not sure what his next move is. He was in that brawl with Martin Kampmann in 2011, if memory serves correctly. can't quite recall what else.

Yeah - in the 1 or 2 podcast interviews he wasn't pulling any punches, and was just laying it all out there. All his poor choices and decisions, and really learning a lot when that person ripped him off for $175k. That shit really hurt him.
