Ok.. I read it as you insinuating Reids comments were hypocritical based on him going back to play in the NFL. If that wasnt your intent then my bad and learn to articulate better. If that was your intent then eat shit and die nigga.

No, old senile fool....I'm saying he had a chance to expose the NFL...but settled out of court and has an NDA...so the NFL doesn't have to reveal shit that happen with the owners and what occurred behind closed doors. Their e-mails and phones would have been in play.

So if you really wanted to make a stand for Colin and expose the NFL....you had a chance

Gotcha. Id have liked to see what happened at trial personally but we have no idea how strong their case truly was or wasnt.. However, that still doesnt disallow him to call bullshit when he smells it.

There was nothing to expose. Were people just dropped off on Earth? Who didn't see the reaction to the kneeling 5 football fields away? Anyone born here over a certain age, would have known how stupid/racist/hypocritical/etc. this country is. Plus, as the protest started T.Rump was rising in popularity. That was a cue right there what a dumbuck USA he was facing.

He can speak all he wants

I try not to judge, because I can't say what I would do in that situation

but if he really wanted to enact change and expose the NFL...he had his chance

Jay was telling rappers not to perform at the Super Bowl, but he goes and signs and entertainment deal with them. I call that talkin out of both sides of your neck.

There's a distinct difference from being the help and partnering.

And I've said it a million times on here and other boards

As long as black men suit up every week in the NFL the so called boycott was a loser exercise

Again kaep would be on the field now if someone offered him a shot

This is all bullshit

You cant talk shit and partner up with said enemy. I mean you CAN. It just shows everything is for sale. Can't rock with it. I'm not one of those "everything is for sale" kind of people.

This is not the issue to strike over. The players are allowed to be politically active. The irony is that it appears most of the owners, while Republicans seem to tell the white, conservative players to mostly shut the fuck up publicly. Someone high up told Nick Bosa to shut up and kiss ass. The black players are allowed to be woke during the regular season on their off days or on social media.

Fuck are you talking about? HE turned down the NFL halftime show and dropped the bars “you need me, I don’t need you tell the NFL we in stadiums too” he never told anyone not to do anything, he’s not them niggas daddy.

And I’m starting to dislike that Nessa chick, she’s always running her mouth or thumbs to speak for a grown ass man.

She must have the best pussy Kaep ever had. Wasn't she the one who fucked up his possible signing with the Ravens by tweeting a comparison of Ravens former GM Ozzie Newsome and owner Steve Bischotti to Calvin Candy and Stephen from'Django Unchained.' When I heard what she did, I thought, "Bitch, don't fuck with his money!" She still has her Talk Stoop gig and other endeavors. I don't fully trust her.
The Ravens were never going to sign him. Do you really believe that the owner' s entire decision depended on what Ray Lewis had to say?

I believe Nissa's response came after the press conference where the owner talked about how hard it would be to bring in Kap and not piss off the fan base and how his decision was cemented by Lewis.

Nice clip

Can't listen to Tiki about this...How can you "move the conversation forward" if there are not stipulations to getting Colin a tryout?

Here's the thing the NFL is afraid of with Regards to Colin:

Colin comes in and wins a starting job...whatever city he's in, they will be embroiled in controversy from sponsors, police unions and the like

This is more about PR and not necessarily about where he can play or not...

I wish Tepper would bring him just to say "F Trump"(Panthers drafted a QB already) but just to see what he can do...Tepper is worth 11 billion and bought the team outright...you bring in Kaep and then when he goes and lights it up during the preseason, trade him for Draft picks

Yeah I am not sure how I feel, but from the clips I saw, Jay -Z mentioned we know why Colin kneeled which was for police brutality. Now let's put some actionable items behind that cause. I think we shouldn't be quick to dismiss what Jay -Z may be doing with the NFL.

Why does Kaepernick let his girl do all the shit-talkin' for him, if the only thing his 'gag order' (NDA) covers is his case against the NFL? Did dude take bread to totally keep the NFL's name our his mouth or what? :dunno:

Because if he says it it can be overlooked as a bitter ex player complaining cause he was left out. If you let others bring it up who still have large platforms the word gets out and it's taken more seriously. You can't just dismiss it as sour grapes.

By all means, I respect what Kap has done and it was well needed....But what kind of man sits back and lets his woman do the talking.

Michelle doesnt talk for Barack, Beyonce doesnt talk for Jay-z......They may talk "about" their man, but they dont talk "for" him. It's a big difference.

That's kinda feminine for a man to not step up and say what needs to be said, all while his girl is mouthing off crazy....He's a grown man, let him speak.

Women with that personality type tend to put dudes in bad situations.

Me neither but at least Jenkins tried to get tangibles.

Kaepernick has done nothing but take orders from Ness Nitty and Nike and tell people he doesn’t vote.

The con he is running about wanting to play is starting to lose credibility because he’s been offered contracts to come back but he declined every one of them.
When and from whom was he offered contract ?

Either a certain amount money makes some people change sides quick or It can be Jay Is trying to change the NFL from the inside (which I seriously doubt that will happen) or by retaining him the NFL, may be trying to get back the people they lost through the whole Kaepernick situation. This shit can be spun so many ways.

I've said it as well. I found it backwards for viewers to boycott when the players are still playing.

I'm not holding a picket sign, boycotting the NFL, if the players aren't willing to strike.

The players hold all the chips but won't strike?

If they sat games out, yes I'd be all for it, but they still continued to suit up on Sunday.

Nope.

When the "others" are your girlfriend and best friend, people know they speak for you. So, it's really six of one, half-dozen the other, but it comes across as him using them for plausible deniability and distance from his own stance. Not saying it's a bad strategy, just not a good look. To me. Ali's lady never spoke for him, until he could no longer speak for himself.

Im interested in what do people think the nfl has to gain from partnering with jay z??
They are hoping to pull in those viewers that are not as hardlined on the no Kaep/ no nfl stance.

It may be deeper, but it smells like shit. The nfl can solve this by themselves. Have Kaep un-excluded from the league, support the men who are active in their communities and move on. This would end the lingering protests.

This smells like a money grab while wrapped up in social justice
