The Note 10+ is a nice phone, I've owned every Note except the 5...

This one I'm skipping because it's not a big enough upgrade for ME.

It is a beast, they didn't put the 855+ in due to heat, it is a little hotter than the 855, but the performance isn't needed cause it has a 60hz display.

60hz display could be another gripe, but the phone is more than capable...

My suggestion is to stop by Bestbuy & play with it for awhile.

No headphone jack...no removable battery....small incremental upgrades....high prices

I will say this Android geeks as you say are more discerning in their choices to buy the latest offerings.

Apple throws out a new one and it's followers buy. Droid users analyze more to rationalize the decision.

Also, as shown in this thread, it's telling about the quality of past notes, that after said analysis some are deciding to stick with their older models.

If I had a Note 9, I'd probably keep it. But I have a Note 8. I love it. I will use it for travel abroad. But already ordered the Note 10 Plus. My main reason is the storage capacity. My Note 8 has 64g internal and a 256 gb micro sd. My internal memory is almost maxed out. I travel a lot and take an insane amount of Photos/videos. My music library is even more ridiculous. I'm a multimedia specialist/3D animator. So more than often I store content on my phone when I'm on the move. With all that being said, I love the 256gb/512gb internal memory as well as the 8gb/12gb ram upgrades on the Note 10 plus. This is just insane for a phone. Everything else that come with this phone is just a plus.

I dont know. I've bought every new note day 1 since the note 4 edge. But this time im just not motivated to upgrade from the note 9. Thinking i'm just gonna pay it off and keep it.

Yeah, some features I like better on my 9, like headphone jack and expandable memory. I have 400GB in mines now with the 512 internal. I damn near have a Terabyte on me at all times, plus my screen is sharper than the 10. The only real upgrade will be the 10+, which I might do in Feb/March when they release the new S11 or whatever they're up to now. That'll be when they'll be damn near giving the N10+s away to push their new shit. This year it's not a day 1 purchase for me.

That Note camera is amazing, especially with that ultra wide lens.

No they dont lol. I work in tech and those iphone groupies in there hype up and get the new iphone as soon as it's out. The difference between most android users and iphone users is that iphone users seem to think that they are some inferior group. Android users don't give a fuck, they just get the phones they like. They could drop another iphone tomorrow and add nothing more than a headphone jack and youd have thousands of iphone users claiming how it's now the most innovative device on earth.

In my general experience - those that can afford it upgrade iphones annually

i agree 100% i have the note 9 and i am not coughing up more money for 1 or 2 things the note 9 dont have.

Verizon offering me $450 trade in for my note 8 which is in excellent condition. Since my bday is around the time of the drop I told family members to throw money on it as this the only thing I want for my bday so it's basically a no brainer. The only thing I'm not feeling is Verizon fuckery with the 5g version because they not rolling out 5g in the NYC metro area until 2020 as I was told by them. So your charging folks that much paper and your honoring it on your end smh wtf

Yep you likely skipped the 5 cause they got a bright idea to remove the sd card and the upgrades sucked.

The 10 got rid of the headphone Jack and that was a deal breaker for me

I still don't understand why people are saying that they removed the headphones jack. They technician didn't remove it they just changed it from a 3.5 jack to a type c headphones jack that comes with the phone.
With enhanced features like noise cancelling.

i got i think $450+ for my note9 plus the credits , so it comes out to about &600+ in discount with the trade in so i end up paying maybe about $650 total , i got the note10+ unbranded -unlocked version just for when i travel internationally i can swap sim cards, i already have a500gb micro sdcard so with the 512gb i have almost 1TB meme in total ! i use media files(video&audiofiles) alot so i needed that !
