But if you're that mad, knock dude out after a few rounds to not only really humiliate him but to also give your fans what they want. And you can't compare GSP's performance to Silva's. GSP tried to finish Hardy on several occasions. In fact, he has Hardy in positions that would have caused most fighters to tap. A fighter shouldn't be criticized for failing to stop his opponent so long as he really tries. Here, it seemed like Anderson could get the KO whenever he wanted and just refused to really try. At the end of the day, Maia won more fans than Silva did yesterday.

Either way, a Silva v GSP match-up at 170 is going to be very interesting. I don't think Silva can stop GSP's take downs at welterweight. Plus, that cut in weight is going to be serious.

bottom line........Silva is a professional fighter. UFC is professional fighting, people pay to see a profesional fight. That shit he did you would see in the projects with 2 teenagers fighting. I think he does care what the fans think to a certain extent, which is why the first thing he said in the post fight interview was "Sorry". He apologized for his performance because he knew he fucked up. And if he doesn't care, he should. Performances like that will mean less interest in his fights which translates to less money in his pocket. Also, I think he likes the claim to P4P champ. All of that will slip away with more BS performances like yesterday's.

His lead is slim? Says who? Is this a fact or your opinion, fam. I'm leaning toward the latter. The first and foremost criteria in P4P ranking is W's & L's. I can live with the argument that Fedor MAY rank above Silva, but GSP? C'mon, son. Silva wouldn't finish his opponent, even though he clearly could have.
