the part of my statement that you quoted wasnt inferred or hinted at in the film. it was cleary, blatantly and veru obviously displayed right on the screen. again, if you couldn't understand that, you are the problem.[/QUOT
Word. It's not our job to fill in the blanks about characters and situations. It's the filmmakers job to present the audience with a film devoid of plotholes or questions that make no sense
When they fail in doing that, it's a clear case of poor writing.
I'll say at least Rey had her little flashback sequence that brought up the possibility that she has so e suppressed memories and is a Force user.
For her to be able to defeat Ren the way she was able too and going with the theory that she somehow learned stuff when she was much younger(considering how young she is now) and forgot suggest that she's the greatest prodigy EVER! Think about that! Way better than Anakin..better than apprentice Luke even
If further suggests if we extrapolate it won't be long until she starts giving Jedi Luke that work.
People tried to suggest well Ren lost because he was heart-broken over killing his father and distracted...Based on what? He showed emotion once and it could easily be interpreted that he used that ploy to get Solo closer to kill him. Nowhere, in the entire movie did he show remorse for joining the Darkside...not ONCE!
