Re: Official Man Of Steel reviews! Love it or Hate it! Discuss it here! MERGED! SPOI
Did you actually pay attention to any dialogue in the movie or are you one of the idiots that see explosions and buildings crumbling so you crown it "best movie eva"? You seem hard of understanding so let me put it this way:
The ship was on Earth 20,000 years before present day.
- I think we can both agree that there was no Superman suit onboard for that period, right?
You: "Jor-El command key blah blah blah had the instructions for the drone bullshit"
What I take issue with is that even with the slightly plausible notion that the suit was made by the protective drone that we see guarding the ship when Clark finds it.......Oops but Clark destroyed it when it attacked Lois....okay, well fuck that notion.
My point being, without Jor-El's consciousness on the ship, the suit doesn't get made.
The sequence of Clark inserts key, ship flys away, he meets Jor-El, *opens door #1* "Here's your suit" seemed too convenient to me. The movie failed in explaining how that suit could materialize on a 20,000 year old ship by way of Jor-El's "hacking" into the ship.
Fuck, I'm so tired of discussing this, I'll even accept Kryptonian sewing machine chamber at this point.
Shheesh.. You keep assuming that Jor-El (or his ghost) had to actually be ON THE SHIP for the Superman suit to be made.
If he was using the drone, then Jor-El (nor his ghost) did not have to be 'physically' onboard to make the suit.
He could have easily stored the drone commands on the ship's computer long before it ever left Krypton. (i.e. while he was building the spaceship)
Somehow your dinner is ready, but you were not in the room when it got made.
Somehow a Superman suit is ready, but Jor-El was not on the ship when it got made.
Same principle.
