According to him they did a ton of filming in the daily planet so he's wondering if that footage will be used in the next movie.

It's a much needed slope.
We've seen the other way in superman motion picture films.

Now let's try it out this way..

Make the HARD decision, where there is no out for him. OR make the decisions tougher and make him be resourceful in his thinking to NOT kill the villains.

TOTALLY SCRAP green lantern and everyone that was in it. and do a new one with this team.

Somehow raise the $400 million you're going to need to get Aquaman together. This is the only one of the films that needs to be in 3D.


Too bad wonderwoman is white otherwise I think Kerry is hot enough and has the acting chops to pull it off. Since no Kerry, I'm not versed on the white heaux's enough to pick one from the litter BUT have her story.

End of her movie is where the league get's put in motion. The others I don't know if they can get a movie made. But have superman go to her introduce himself and then tell her about a group... those two go to the meeting and its the league.. and end the movie.

I forgot where I was. BGOL, where m'fuckers hate to read. I was responding to someone who suggested that "Jor-El interacted with the environment, opening and closing doors" to explain how he developed a suit out of thin air.

Jor-El was an integral part of the ship's Artificial Intelligence.
i.e. He could control the on-board systems, air-locks, doors etc.

Pretty much everything on the ship, Jor-El could manipulate somehow.

Did you miss the part when the grey 'security drone' came out and shot Lois Lane?
(when Superman reactivated the ship, in the artic.)

If not, then think about this....

The journey from Krypton to Earth took 'lightyears', so there was plenty of time to build stuff.

• If there are ANY Kryptonian supplies or materials on the ship, whatsoever...
• AND there are highly-advanced DRONES on the ship...
• DRONES which probably have limbs, arms, hands, lasers, guns, sharp instruments, etc ....
• And if Jor-el can control the entire ship... plus these DRONES onboard...
• It's safe to say, that Jor-el can easily command the Drones to craft objects, from any supplies that are probably onboard...

... IN ORDER TO MAKE A SUPERMAN SUIT

The same way that robots can build cars today, on an assembly line.

Bet Jor-El only needs one single drone to make it happen.

Shhheeeeiiitttt... In fact, I'd bet every single 'stitch' of clothing worn by EVERY LAST PERSON seen on Krypton... from Zod and the Military, to the High-Council, to Jor-El and his entire family.... was made by a drone.

Them Kryptonians ain't sewing shit by hand.

Just because we did not see it all happen onscreen, does not mean it is impossible.

Just need a little imagination.

Seems more logical for Lex to be in the second and introduce Metallo and or Brainiac then hint at either Darksied or a justice league movie. Lex will be the only one to give you a sense of if a regular human can be a threat to superman. Hell Guardian was already sorta established in this movie.

but it needs to be handled like sarah conner in terminator and not drew barrymore in charlie's angels.

1978 Superman in my mind is the definitive Superman film for which all orgin films of the character will be influenced. MOS wasn't unwatchable, but it was overly produced with too much CGI and shaky cam. That's what turned me off to the film. I saw it twice, I just didn't get that "awe" feeling that I get with the character. I mean 20 minutes of buildings crumbling gets a little old.

It's all good though. I'm just glad we're getting sequel this time.

No one said MoS was perfect. Every movie has flaws. But you started saying The originals were better, when we asked for examples then you said MoS had plot holes. When we pointed out that the originals are full of plot holes then you said Kryptonians throwing each other through buildings and punching each other was boring. When we pointed out that the only real action in either of the originals was Kryptonians punching each other and throwing each other through buildings, you said MoS didn't accurately represent the character's roots. When we pointed out that the original had Superman throwing plastic from his chest and wrapping cats up, you said WE were the ones that brought up the original.

Their strength might not have been, but Zod had the advantage. He was born to be a soldier, trained since he was a child to fight. It was in his DNA. For all we know this was Superman's first major fight in his life that probably went longer than one punch against drunken dudes at the bar. The way he got his ass kicked in the IHOP by the chick shows who had actual fight experience. The fact she was following Zod means he was a superior soldier to her.

'Man Of Steel' Ending: Christopher Nolan Wasn't Sold On Superman Denouement At First

This one can go both ways with me. For one I wouldn't have minded if Zod had gotten sucked into the black hole. Michael Shannon played a great Zod, and would have liked to see him return later, maybe as part of the "Injustice League" in a Justice League movie or something.

Second, I fully understand why he had to kill Zod. Zod was going to Terraform the Earth killing EVERY human on it. Then when you take away his purpose for existing he vows to kill everyone personally, and attempts to murder a family right in front of you. Besides Zod having some hella neck muscles to still turn and try to beam the family, Superman did what he had to do at the moment. It wasn't a total shock to me. Hell, he killed Doomsday because he blew through the Justice League and was fucking him up. He knew even though he was about to die that Doomsday was too dangerous to live when he is gone, so they killed each other.

Put in the same dire situation I think Spider-Man would kill too.

Not going to even mention the hypocrite Batman! He's been killing left and right, but because he doesn't pull a trigger he says it's not his fault.

He killed the Joker in the 1989 film

He kills Ra's Al Ghul in "Batman Begins"

"I'm not going to kill you......But I don't have to save you either"!

I was way more surprised when I saw Optimus Prime kill on the big screen for the first time than seeing Superman kill. I was like "Damn, Prime bodied him"! Little did I know by the end of the 3rd film Prime would have the highest body count of the wholes series! Now he killed mofos on sight!

Green Lantern was ok, the script was the part that was the letdown. Parallax was a good villain to use, but could have been used a lot better. Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan was actually good casting. He fits Hal. Now if they went with any other Green Lantern like Guy Gardener, Kyle Rayner, or John Stewart then no he wouldn't have been. The best part of "Green Lantern" was when he went to OA and was learning the history of the Green Lanterns (the color green for will power, how the rings is a universal translator, etc..) training with Kilowog

and meeting Sinestro. Bad thing is, that was only about 25 mins of the movie! The rest is about him fighting a swole head Peter Sarsgaard and making a slot car track for him to land a helicopter! Now that was the bad part!

But when Sinestro cast off the green ring and put that yellow one on I was like "Now this is the best part of the whole film"!

$400M for an "Aquaman" film?! That's a lot of scratch for a nigga that talks to Lobster and Shrimp! Just playing, but for real Aquaman would be lucky to get a $200M budget. "Green Lantern" was $200M and that didn't turn out in the studio's favor. I think a much better Green Lanter could have been done for cheaper. "Avatar" budget was $237M, but some folks think it was actually closer to $280-$310M. "Superman Returns" had a bigger budget of $270M compared to that of "Man of Steel" at $225M.

Man, the fact that these are the best we can come up with for WW is damn sad and shows you how hard it is to cast for the character. The perfect looking women to me with the right statue, body frame, acting etc BUT is probably too old at this point for such a roll is Ginna Torres(Laurence fishburne Wife).
