MoS Dark Knight etc were structured and reigned in by Nolan)

Chris Evans was Captain America by the middle of the first Cap movie.

Chadwick Boseman was Black Panther the minute he chased Bucky in the parking garage in Civil War.

Cavill didn't feel like Superman until Justice League, and it wasn't due to them wanting the character to grow, it was due to poor writing and not understanding who the Superman character is.

MoS had better action sequences; it arguably had the best action sequences of any comic book movie ever. They need to bring back Faora and have her fight Wonder Woman.

Chris Evans was Captain America by the middle of the first Cap movie.

Chadwick Boseman was Black Panther the minute he chased Bucky in the parking garage in Civil War.

Cavill didn't feel like Superman until Justice League, and it wasn't due to them wanting the character to grow, it was due to poor writing and not understanding who the Superman character is.

I think the Man of steel franchise intention was to take us on a ride along as Cavill becomes Superman we know and love.

It's hard to compare it to Christopher Reeves Superman because it deviate from the comics that as far ad Origins go

What made the warehouse storyline so dumb was the fact she was whimpering and talking throughout her moment there...supes was taught to basically concentrate using his senses and yet didn't pick up where his mom whereabouts were, yet this nig saves Lois in under 2 secs off of getting tossed off a blding when she screamed... This nig flying to diff countries saving her when she in trouble, but when his mom in trouble he can't hear shit... Not only that bats was literally gonna kill him 1 sec than next thing he gonna ask him to go save his mom.. Wait the nig that's been stalking you throughout the movie you gonna put your moms life in his hands smh.. Than the biggest dumbshit you can fly to go save a bitch you fucking but you won't even go save your moms? How he fig batman was guaranteed to save her on time? If you basically a god wouldn't you save her yourself instead of putting it in some humans hand to do it? So many dumb ass flaws and dumb things they did in this movie

Bro.
Superman 3 has some of the most iconic and meaningful scenes in Supes movie history. It doesn't compare to 1 or 2, but it's far more enjoyable than that sloppy, anti Superman stuff they're putting out now.

Besides the CGI, there's nothing Superman Returns or Man of Steel adds.
