There are many seasonend internationals who will never play in the EPFL. The EPFL is one of the best paying leagues; it is the one league every professional in the world would like to play in. So please, do not tell me that the many many many much more talented Brazilians, who are languishing in such Leagues as the Sao Paolo tournament for what is a pittance by English pay standards, prefer to play in there than in Egland. As for the language, most players in Europe play in countries where the language spoken is foreign to them. There are bunch of Brazilians playing in Russia, Germany, Holland, Belgium, who would love to play in the EPFL, but are not given a chance. The English are arrogant and racist, and my niece, a die hard fan who is an English citizen, tells me all the time, how the English think the black foreigners on teams like Chelsea and Asernal have destroyed English football. The Americans who play in England, would never be signed in Spain or Italy. Their talent simply insn't up to par...but they get the royal welcome in England, courtesy of that special relation.
As for the economics, Donovan who was making 1000 000 a year in MLS was not more economical than a much more talented than a Brazilian who is making 50 000 in the Rio Tournament. Furthermore, it is condescending and wrong to claim that Brazilians are less adaptable to changes in tempo and physicalness of a particular league. Brazilians play this game from the earliest age, the can play it in any way or fashion. An American play has no advantage of any kind over an African, much less a Brazilian. Sorry.
