Mueller Report Out! (AG Barr Edition: download within)

He came on the scene punking republicans and hijacked their shit. Straight Debo. Shit was like a super villain showing up and at first the crime bosses like 'fuck him'. Later, they forced to get down. Shit tense on that side. This Russia shit only thing stopped Trump from further punking them. Kasich's plan was to wait in the shadows and fly in during the chaos. Then Russia happened.

But all those Republican politicians shook and don't even like him. When he no longer needs their protection, hilarity ensues. He can punk Fox and the Republicans off something petty and the voters on the right will ride with him. He's done it before.

Dems just don't know how to handle him. No precedent for this shit. Things that normally would work just don't. Any other politician in either party would have been toast doing shit he gets away with.

Dems got a report in their hands that -- even with all the black ink -- would melt 99.9 percent of politicians on both sides of the aisle and they holding it with shaky hands. And I don't blame them. There isn't much room for error IMHO.

co-sign all of this

He was built by Fox News and went right around the Republican political infrastructure. He’s a Fox News politician, not a Republican. They had him on Fox and Friends spewing birtherism and other shit for years and the Fox News audience liked him more than they liked any other republican.

The real power flex is Fox News showing that they ran the Republican party not the other way around. And any republicans Fox News got after, they lost.

And now, Fox created this monster and they’re seeing he took their audience from them. Trump has started calling out Fox news to keep them in line. Because now he can feed his base through twitter and memes on facebook. He doesn’t need Fox News.

Roger Ailes tried to warn Fox after they had created that monster.

Shortly before Fox News C.E.O. Roger Ailes was fired, in July 2016, after dozens of women accused him of sexual harassment, he delivered a warning to his boss, Rupert Murdoch. “Trump gets great ratings, but if you’re not careful, he is going to end up totally controlling Fox News,” Ailes said, a source briefed on the conversation recently recalled. “Roger was highly annoyed with Trump. He couldn’t contain him at all,” a high-level Fox staffer remembered.

Trump been testing waters on the low. In the early to mid 2000s, he was on CNN shitting on Bush. He wanted to find a path to the ultimate power position. He then hit at Obama and rode that birther shit until the wheels fell off. Then as you said, jacked Fox audience. That shit between him and their fake ass barbie was epic.

The biggest con Trump pulled was getting the Fox news crowd -- and the left-- to believe he was a republican off two talking points. He was surgical with it. Still is to this day.

Trump don’t believe shit except lining his pockets. He watched fox news take the conservative masses from the republican party, then he took them away from fox news lol. This is the greatest con of all time. Convinced a bunch of broke white people that he was with them against the elite when every business or product he has ever had was to cater to the elite

Man I need to find the entire clip on this....

You got Fox on Fox violence.... Fox News is so messed up that even when you have their own co-hosts pointing out shit... they still fucking willfully lie

Marie Harf is a democrat that used to work for Pres. Obama.

She was filling in for Juan Williams (1 dem on the show), this is typical of her.

Dumb assed Democrats better not let these Republicans out flank them.
I picture a scenario where the Republicans throw Trump under the bus and come swooping in to save our democracy. If his base starts deteriorating at a rapid rate he'll be eaten by his own.

What everybody seems to be missing is that we've seen all this before. It's called McCarthyism and the architect behind it (and joe mccarthy) was roy cohn. The man who was, shockingly, donald trump's mentor.

Now granted, never has the blueprint been ramped up to this level but it's still the same misinformation and lies; vilifying the press and anyone who would challenge them; stacking the deck (ie.: the courts) with people loyal to the cause so when and after due process is invoked not only have you lost, but precedent has been established. It's a fucking nightmare but we (and the Dems: for god's sake get your heads out of your asses) need to be clear on exactly what we're fighting here.

And do you really want to be scared? There is a cabal of billionaires conspiring to run this country by influencing policy and lawmaking. What, you say you already knew that? Ah, but did you know to what extent? Check this out:

There's also a chilling article (I'm trying to find it) about how bills are being drafted by private think tanks and simply forwarded to pols to present to their respective legislatures. Needless to say, the bills contain all sorts of tricky language that is to the benefit of, amazingly, the billionaires.

**edit - this isn't the article but read this and be afraid, be very afraid

Yup, they're in the prison system too

**edit #2 - still not the article but The Atlantic is always a good read. This mentions Common Cause the group that did the research. I suspect that's where we'll find the real info.

The charge of high crimes and misdemeanors covers allegations of misconduct by officials, such as perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, unbecoming conduct, refusal to obey a lawful order, chronic intoxication, and tax evasion.

Don’t worry. People like you are going to make sure the Republicans outflank the dems. I told folks dems like you still think Trump will be removed. Not only will impeachment not deteriorate his base, it will supercharge them and they’ll super excited to vote dems out in 2020.

Once again people. There is no republican party anymore. It’s the Trump party. Any republican voting to remove Trump will have ended his career. They wouldn’t even be able to lobby.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/22/politics/nancy-pelosi-impeachment/index.html

Washington (CNN)House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sought to address the divisions within the Democratic Party on whether to impeach President Donald Trump in a "dear colleague" letter sent Monday, several days after the Justice Department released a redacted version of Robert Mueller's explosive report.

Pelosi and House Democratic leaders have resisted launching impeachment proceedings, but the speaker noted in her letter that despite differences, Democrats all "firmly agree that we should proceed down a path of finding the truth."

"It is also important to know that the facts regarding holding the President accountable can be gained outside of impeachment hearings," she wrote.
Democrats wrestle with impeachment question

"As we proceed to uncover the truth and present additional needed reforms to protect our democracy, we must show the American people we are proceeding free from passion or prejudice, strictly on the presentation of fact," she added.

A man, a plan, an ice cream bike: see how a Caribbean ice cream dream became a city favorite.
Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren, a 2020 presidential candidate, and other several Democratic lawmakers have called to open an impeachment inquiry in the House. But without Republican support, any effort to actually remove Trump from office would fail in the Senate.

Pelosi has said that Democrats should continue to push for the entire report to be made public and to proceed with the multiple investigations into the President's finances and potential obstruction of justice.
"Whether currently indictable or not, it is clear that the President has, at a minimum, engaged in highly unethical and unscrupulous behavior which does not bring honor to the office he holds," she added in her letter.

Nothing will happen to Trump. Nothing. In fact, he'll be re-elected unless the Democrats offer a true progressive to run against him.

Girl hush.... I told you a long time ago...( I'll find the post(s) if you want to.... JUST GET HIM UNDER OATH. Why are you such a coward? Why do you tremble in fear at the thought of the Republican Base? Do the Democrats not have a base? Tell the dems to get thier weight up... stop trying to appease Republicans to keep them calm. What the fuck kind of " strategy" is that? Don't do or say anything that might rile his base.
Can you kind of see why a lot of people think dems and repugs play for the same team? SMGDH AT THIS BROAD AND HER ILK

People still don't want to give him credit. He's a piece of shit and he's not "book smart" by any definition of the term... but he's surgical with messaging and he absolutely works the fuck out of the media, daily.

During the primaries, I was posting stories about his social media use. He called his twitter account "The Monster" and republicans were scared to death of him turning the monster on them. He was bragging about it way back during the primaries before he had even won. Trump understood the power of turning the base into a mob and then controlling that mob. He got it way before the rest of us.. no one really understood what he was saying when he said that he could shoot someone on Fifth Ave and not lose a supporter. He knew he had them way back then...way more than anyone had realized.

And if he tells the congress fuck off, I’m not saying shit, then what are they going to do? Impeach him harder?

And a fired up Republican base vs a regular dem base gave us Trump in the first place.

Or you can do what they did to Hillary. They didn’t impeach her. They just investigated the shit out of her every day. There’s a lot of space between do nothing and stat an impeachment you already know you’re going to lose. What kind of strategy is picking a fight you know you’ll lose?

They're afraid of Trump... not just now... about what he'll do when he's out of office. if Trump feels slighted by the party IN ANY WAY, he'll tell his followers that he couldn't MAGA because the GOP didn't support him. He's already done that for his base (about the promises he couldn't deliver like ACA repeal and replace).

That's why he won't let McCain go. Because he's going to use McCain a lot later when he talks about his promises. I had it delivered until McCain with the "thumbs down". he just had to completely kill McCain legacy beforehand.

Man he’s not giving the party back to them cats. They’ll all have to kiss his ring after he’s out of office.
