What does this have to do with this thread and FUCKYOU. No way does he fit that criteria. He needs to shed weight. Period. Dropping 8pounds and trying to cut will do nothing for him. He has too much stress on his body and joints and he needs to drop pounds. You cats are so worried about getting your points across that you're ignoring the fact that they have no relevance in this instance. AT FUCKYOU's size and weight, he needs to go by that scale for now.

Thanks Bruh, and yes I was out of shape 2 years ago. I was 257 with my gut hanging over my belt. Currently I'm 244. My BMI is around 14%. I only lost 13 lbs. My blood pressure was out of control and borderline diabetes.

Today I can run just about 6 miles and look a lot different. I took a year and half to get in shape. I looked at the scale maybe 4 times during my entire training. I just went by the mirror and my clothes. I'm not cut up but I'm in shape and happy with the results.

Now, im not gonna say anything negatively about your route and results, but you still dont need to be handing out your formula as if its a magic pill or it applies to everyone while steadfastly shitting on this man's course of action (your comments were still flat out wrong). And your 257 on what looks like a 6'2 frame should never be mentioned when referencing a 270 on a 5'9 frame. Keep up the good work.

7-9-07 201lbs - Excercised none what so ever and was in denial about "being in shape" because everyone called me skinny...Gucci Mane was my idol at the time as well lol.

That's the bottom line. It is inspiring for real.

I need to get serious and get on my grind for real to get healthy.

The truth is I am a Type II diabetic (runs in my family), and I have a long life to live, so I need to get this under control.

My stats:

Weight - 229lbs
Height - 6' 1
Age - 33 years 9 months.

My goal weight is 185lbs, but hopefully I want to be down to 200 by December.

Good work everyone, and I def plan to use this as motivation.

Just work hard, take it day by day and it will pay off. Don't stress over it and continue enjoying life. About every 8 weeks I take a whole week off from the gym and eat whatever I please. Once a year I take a whole months off from the gym eating what I please.


For example, I know November is a big event month with the holidays and I was getting pretty burned out at the gym so I took the month off. I decided that I would start counting calories in December to reach my goal. It was great because I was still eating what I liked, just in moderation.

My fitness regimen consisted of

About 15 minutes of lifting at moderate weight (to retain muscle memory and not burn myself out during the week)

Chestx10 Supersetted Bicepx10
Tricepsx10 Supersetted Backx10
Shoulderx10 Supersetted Shrugsx10
Elevated Weighted Sit-ups x10

45 minutes of cardiovascular activity followed by a 10 minute cool down in the sauna.

I did this 5 days a week.

11-2-09 193.4lbs
11-30-09 200.4lbs
12-7-09 195.2lbs
12-14-09 190.2lbs
12-21-09 188lbs
12-29-09 185.2lbs

Results = 15lbs of of weight loss. Again I lost some "muscle" but my strength stayed exactly the same.

Dumbbells and smaller decimal weights are best for drop sets so their is a minimal of rest when dropping weight and continuing lifting.

15 sec rests example
Incline Dumbbell press 1 min break, Incline Dumbbell Press 15 secondbreak, Incline Dumbbell press 15 sec break, Incline Dumbbell Press

Anyway, I'm using this thread as help as well. I found out that I have a overactive thyroid a few months ago and it really messed up my workout plan. So I finally got a groove with my supplements and my meds. My meds were sapping my enery making it even harder to stick to a workout plan.

BTW, Ive started my p90x plan again with some of the insanity workouts tied in.
