King Mo Lawal needs to build up his rep'/experience first. He's only got a certain # of fights. Fedor is largely regarded as the P4P best (right up there with all the big dawgs, and often at the top of the list). Cung Le is a tough dude ... but it's his first fight back after 18 months away (he's pursuing an acting career at the moment, a la Rampage) ... and Smith isn't known as "Hands of Steel" for nothing. He's always got a puncher's chance, because he's a tough dude with heart and heavy leather

A bout between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin for the UFC Heavyweight Championship was rescheduled from UFC 106 to UFC 108, but this fight will not take place due to a continuing illness of Lesnar.[2]
The winner of a bout between Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira and Cain Velasquez was to be guaranteed a title shot for the UFC Heavyweight Championship against the eventual winner of Lesnar vs. Carwin.[3] The planned bout was later scrapped when Nogueira was forced to pull out of the fight due to a severe case of staph infection.[4] A possible Velasquez vs. Carwin match for an interim belt has been ruled out as a new main event due to Carwin undergoing knee surgery,[5] although the fight may take place at a later date.[6][7]. The Nogueria/Velasquez bout is scheduled for February 21, 2010 at UFC 110.[8]
Gabriel Gonzaga was forced to pull out of his bout with Junior dos Santos on November 25, due to illness.[9] Gonzaga was replaced by Gilbert Yvel[10]
Paul Daley was scheduled to face Carlos Condit but on December 9, it was announced that Condit had pulled out due to injury. [11] Condit was replaced by Dustin Hazelett.[12]
On December 11, Tyson Griffin pulled out of his bout with Jim Miller, citing an injury.[13] Sean Sherk, who originally had a fight with Rafaello Oliveira, stepped as up as Griffin's replacement.[14] However, on December 17, Sherk pulled out of the fight, Duane Ludwig replaced Sherk. [15]

Not trying to pick at you, but I don't think Cung Le is that tough a guy. His entire style means he hits (kicks) you so much, you can't get at him, and it works. But once he gets gassed, or barely cought, he will fold like a chair. That being said, he is a bad ass fighter with a style I love to watch. I remember some K-1 fight he was in years ago where he pulled off a scissor takedown, the only other time I have ever seen that was by scorpion on MK!!!!!
King Mo Lawal needs to build up his rep'/experience first. He's only got a certain # of fights. Fedor is largely regarded as the P4P best (right up there with all the big dawgs, and often at the top of the list). Cung Le is a tough dude ... but it's his first fight back after 18 months away (he's pursuing an acting career at the moment, a la Rampage) ... and Smith isn't known as "Hands of Steel" for nothing. He's always got a puncher's chance, because he's a tough dude with heart and heavy leather

Cung Le wasn't the same against Scott ... I think it's because he was distracted by his turn to acting in recent memory. I'm only a so-so fan of Cung Le's to begin with though ... haven't really followed him much in years past.
