They roll even with nobody getting submitted.usually jake is in Nicks guard the whole time.Dave Terrell fucks them both up.Gilbert Melendez was put on to MMA by Jake and Jake beat him up like a redheaded stepchild for years.This is how Gil got so tough and good quickly.

I was watching MMA Connected here in Canada this past Monday evening (April 19th) and they asked GSP if he thought he'd ever fight JAKE SHIELDS if he made his way over to the UFC at some point. He noted it's a possibility, in that he wants to be a proud champion and take on any comers, especially those most worthy ... and Shields is right up there at the top of the heap pretty much. He respects him fully and knows he's very good ... GSP noted 'the best' ... and there's only 2 or so fighters he personally enjoys watching (in that they're so good at what they do, and have a proven track record) and SHIELDS is one of them.

I believe GSP can destroy Shileds on the feet. And I don't believe Shields will be skilled enough to take GSP down.

It would be a good fight to see, no question. Considering Jake has proven himself over the years and shitted on some of his doubters ... plus he's proven he can move around a bit in the weight classes and still be effective.

I'm a big fan of both ... and I'd also like to see GSP move around a bit too or have a catchweight bout here and there ... it would be cool to see him a bit heavier as well ... considering he walks around in the 190 - 195 range / weighs in at 170 / then come fight night the next night usually falls in the 181 - 183 range once he's eaten and properly rehydrated himself from the 4pm weigh-in the day before.
