The fact that we get more insight to the relationship between Rodman and Carmen Electra and absolutely no mention of Juanita Jordan is baffling.

The answer was in an ESPN story when they interviewed the director. Even though all the footage was shot by NBA Films, Jordan had control of his likeness because he opted out of the players' union's group licensing program when he entered the NBA. So in order to make the documentary, it had to get Jordan's approval. In order to do that, the director gave Jordan control of what could/couldn't be included.

Yeah you’re right, it would be nice to get more insight on who he truly was/is off the court. What his home life was like, I can agree with that. But the documentary is focusing on his “Basketball” life.

Do you actually watch NBA games? The league is not as good as it was back then because there is so much marginal talent now, its watering the game down. Guys are coming into the league not knowing fundamental skills, not knowing how to run an offense, play defense (huge problem), and not knowing how to play within a team setting (another huge problem).

Players back then were smarter and had a much better grasp of these concepts. Now, guys just want to go one on one or jack FGA after FGA to get on sportscenter.



That statement could not be any further from the truth considering the fact that a 40 year old Michael Jordan came back and dropp 20+ ppg. Just imagine what he would be doing in this watered down league if he were in his prime.

How many current players in the NBA will be called a LEGEND after they retire? Only Shaquille O'Neal and Tim Duncan... Maybe Jason Kidd (because of his versatility) and potentially Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. That's it.

Didnt read the article yet as Im sure its more of the same old BS. Like I said last year when I made my list of top 5 SGs in the league, Wobe wasnt included and still isnt top 5 in my opinion and that is why I dont understand why people (sports writers) continue to say he is the most talented player in the league when he's not even the most talented player on his own team.

My problem with the whole "Wobe phenomenon" has always been the comparison to Jordan because if you look deeply into it, there really is nothing to merit a comparison other than they could both score. Once these sportswriters admit that Bryant was never good enough to be the next Jordan and is nothing more than a one dimensional scorer that owes everything to O'Neal then I'd have nothing else to say.
