I know that this has been a bad season...but SHIT!!! These last 3 loses...:smh:

I refuse to put ALL THE BLAME on the coach....but i never seen this team look this unorganized under Tom Tibby. We've actually had less injuries this year than we've had in previous years....yet we look worse.

I know they have to adjust to a new system. But I honestly havent seen them "adjust" all season. It doesnt take Vets that long to catch on. We've have great individual performances here and there...but the shit has never meshed. Why??

After every losing season Pax and Gar always find a way to make it seem as if we have enough. As if we just need tighten the screws. Cant wait to hear their closing statements after this year.

Hold a "accountability"meeting 4-5 months too late.
Result: lose vs Hawks

Even though we fought back near the end......bottom line is it was the same shit different day for most of the game. Theres no need to "fight back" if your shit is on point when it needs to be. Bunch of bad/forced shots....nice looking LUCKY circus shots ...limited passing....no energy....bad defense. BAD DEFENSE..

Play Pacers tomorrow. The two teams that we're fighting with for the 8th or 7th spot actually have a tougher remaining schedule than us. But at this point it dont even matter,

BULLS!!!!!

Interesting article/charts about D Rose journey back from injuries. I still dont think he's a 25-30 mill a year player...but his consistencies/improvements have been interesting.

ANALYTICS ART: DERRICK ROSE BOUNCING BACK TO FORM DESPITE BULLS MELTDOWN

Amid the Chicago Bulls’ ill-timed slump and fall from the Eastern Conference playoff picture (they’re one game back from the No. 8 seed Indiana Pacers heading into action on April 2), Derrick Rose has been playing his best basketball in years.

The 2011 NBA MVP has dealt with a barrage of injuries since establishing himself as one of the league’s best players. He’s missed 224 of a possible 403 regular season games since being named Most Valuable Player, primarily due to devastating knee injuries.......

Officially out of the playoffs and we might get our 72-10 record broke in a few days.
What a fucking year to be a Bulls fan!

Tom Tibby talked about us a few days ago. He said Noah not being involved (even before his injury) really hurt the Bulls. He also made a point about the East being much better than it has been in 7+ years. When the Bulls reconstruct this team.......LBJ/Cavs wont be our ONLY roadblock, like its been in previous years. I hope they keep that in mind.

I read somewhere that the Bulls might seek to resign Noah before they resign Gasol. One thing Gasol gives you over Noah is points...which is why Noah was benched. Noah's defense, passing, energy, leadership was surely missed this year. And thats mainly because the so called Stars of our team never stepped up.

I seriously think Gasol will get lazy after he gets his final big deal. So I hope the Bulls dont go hard for him.

Cant wait to hear the bs from Gar and Paxton in a few days. Im even more interested in seeing what moves they'll make over the next 10 months.

BULLS!!!!!!!!!
:hmm:

Glad it's over. Fuck this season, I checked out a month ago. Sink the entire ship, nothing needs to be saved. Trade Jimmy now!!! Dude is an iso player, but not even that good of an iso player that you're OK with him high jacking the offense. Let Rose walk after next year. I'm over the squad as currently constructed. Parts don't fit together, and the coach isn't an elevator of talent. Prepare to suck for a few years. This rebuild is gonna be ugly.

We need to trade D Rose, get a quality point guard ( should have never let DJ Augustine get away ) and give the keys to Jimmy Butler. We have the best collection of talented/skilled big men in the NBA and no one to give them the ball. Dunlevey and McDermott are the same player we do not need two ( don't need one but hey, they " lighten " up the roster.

Child please

From an outsider looking in, why do some of y'all want Jimmy gone so bad?

I don't think trading him is necessary, especially if we can't get equal value for him.

He just wants to be the man, but he's not ready yet.

Jimmy's ego has basically split the locker room. Jimmy can lead the youngins, but he can't tell the vets shit (Noah, Rose, Taj) because he hasn't done anything they haven't done.

He just needs someone he respects to guide him and keep the team united. That used to be Thibs, as well as Adrian Griffin (asst. coach) and Deng, but they are all gone.

Thibs ain't that stupid. He's in control now. Bet he won't run that squad into the ground either.

It doesn't sound that bad to me. Bring in Jimmy to run the defense he already knows. Their draft pick will probably be Top 5. They'll be aight if they scoop Deng or Noah (if we let him walk) in FA.

In exchange, we get younger. I'd like if we also got Gorgui Dieng and Shabazz Muhammad. Wiggins still on his rookie contract. I think it could work out.

It would just be a matter of - would Thibs be willing to work with Gar to make it happen.

Thibs knows what Jimmy is. I give him props. I never thought he would become what he has. But I think hes maxed out. I think Wiggans could be better than he is now, and even now I think hes what Jimmy wants to be. I myself would never trade a younger player with more upside for a good player who may have maxed out.

I want Harrison Barnes. The Bulls biggest weakness was the SF position. Barnes could average around 20 points a game. Bulls need to make it happen.
Yeah, Barnes and Conley. Bring Derrick off the bench, move Jimmy to the 2nd option where he belongs. If the Bulls get Howard, which at this point I actually wouldnt mind. It could be an interesting squad. Wont happen, Im sure. But Id like to see it.

Reinsdorf would flip his lid if he was paying Derrick Rose 21 mil to come off the bench.

The keys to the Bulls need to be given to Jimmy Butler. We have the best collection of big men in the league and no point guard to give them the ball. Trade Rose for a No.1 and a player and sign a pass first point guard. As good at scoring as Rose is he gives the Bulls no rhythm.

Word is Jummy butler to Wizards for Bradley Beal

Id do it in half a heartbeat....

He would. But goddamn man. If Rose just wants to do his thing he needs to come off the bench like Crawford did/does. Best thing he ever did for his career. Hes never ran an offense since Ive known of him going back to Simeon, so to expect him to do it now is crazy.
