That's not what I meant in trading Dragic. I was saying moving Dragic would allow Miami to resign Whiteside. Rose is untradable. Maybe a rental in his final year but he doesn't have the superstar factor anymore.
Every time Rose has gotten injured this year.......I just cant help but to think about this video...

We have the talent to compete (not vs a team like the Warriors, but anybody in the east & 90% of the East) but we obviously have some issues. I wouldnt be shocked if Pax and crew are kicked out sooner or later.
Even if we show improvement after the break....7-8 oldest team in the NBA....they need to consider rebuilding at this point.
The Rose buzz is dead and the Jimmy buzz aint big enough YET to make folks want to come here. Im not saying we should COMPLETELY clean house....but we obviously need to start working on building new talent. Cause that window that was open during the Tibby era is obviously closed.
I think Portis will be a nice player, but after him, what other young talent on our team has a bright future?

Bulls local TV ratings drop 29%.....and justifiably so. This team is no long exciting to watch. But just like Bears and Cub fans.... Bulls fans are still loyal. Bulls still rank in the top 4 in game attendance. Only teams that have higher numbers are the Warriors, Knicks and Cavs. But still.....even when healthy......the thrill is gone! Theyre boring to watch.

I'm happy Doug finally got off. He's played decent this season, but still not consistent enough. We need him to turn into Gordon Heyward as high as we picked him. It's his time to shine.
I think they should experiment at playing Butler more in the three spot and try to get a point guard who is able to hit the outside shot.. This way they would get better spacing become more faster and athletic...
I don't know who they could have gotten to fill this void but its something they may want to look at next season...

Man at this point I'm just ready for it to be over. Playoffs or not, this season from start to finish has been a waste of a year. The only bright spot is Doug looks confident and may not be a bust. It's time to blow up the ship and to be honest everyone on this squad I can make a case for being traded.

I gave the benefit of the doubt. Rose going down derailed the train. But they had no contingency plan. Ok FAs didn't want to come... How about you trade one of those bigs before they get exposed/hurt while they still have value??? Thibs had to go. It was a toxic situation. Ok fine......... But did the roster as constructed look like one that could effectively run Fred's offense??? Now here we are, with the bottom falling out and everyone is stuck holding the bag. Noah has no value and is gonna walk. Pau is gonna walk regardless of what he says. Derrick is gone after next season, Taj is probably gonna walk next year too. You got Jimmy, but so what. This summer is their last chance to land somebody who will help us immediately. If they don't get KD or at least Derozan, Rose is out and will be stuck at barely being a .500 team until Dougie turns into something.
I mean they can't make people sign with the team. So I won't hold them accountable for that. They extended offers and people choose not to come. But not making any trades when they were there to be had is my thing. That's what I'm feed up with Gar-Pax for.

Forget landing big FAs, they barely scooped any decent, starter-caliber role players since they blew up the 2011 bench. They just kept ending up with bottom-of-the-barrel free agents. We were always a good 2 guard away from being a legit contender and they couldn't land one.
Like an Arron Afflalo, Ray Allen, hell Swaggy P would've been an upgrade over Keith Bogans and Ronnie Brewer. Rip Hamilton? Did anybody know who Marco Bellinelli was before he played on the Bulls?
Nate Robinson was one of top 3 best free agent signings we've had in years and that muthafucka ain't even in the league no more.

Rose wants big money...but he aint a big money player. The Bulls will have a hard time getting a lot in D Rose trade. Mainly because no one is gonna give up too much for a injury prone player who has an expiring contract; Unless the team that wants Rose is desperate.
Truth is we're about to go into a painful rebuilding stage. Which is kinda sad when u think of where this team was a few years ago.
We'll make some moves between this summer and the 2017 trade deadline. We have no choice because of aging players, players opting out and expiring contracts. I see articles popping up ever few days about the Bulls just tanking these final 17 games and hoping for another "lucky #1 pick"....like the one they got for Rose. If not a #1 pick....at least a 2-10 pick. If the Kings dont get a lottery pick..then the Bulls own their pick for next year as well.
I dont know if I want to blame it on the coach. This is year one for him in the NBA. Tom Tibby won 62 games in his first year with the Bulls....but Tom was WELL seasoned. Also...our roster has changed a lot over the years.
I still watch some Bulls games....not as many as i used to..but i stil watch. When they play they look so unorganized.
Body language says a lot. Mofos just standing around. Frowning at each other and shit. This is the first year out of the last 5 years that the Bulls have been boring to watch. They dont pass the ball...they dont communicate...they dont look like a team. Rose will have a big night one day..then Butler...then Gasol..then Bobby....then Doug. But ive rarely seen all of them mesh together and COLLECTIVELY win a game.
Over achieving during a lot of those Roseless years has fooled a lot of people. Imho..the Bulls are right around the corner from doing what the Bears did and completely cleaning house. Gettin rid of Pax, Gar....medical staff.....all of em

Doug doesnt contribute many assist or boards because of how the Bulls use him during games. A lot of times he doesnt move much until he gets the ball. But when he does get the ball he aint just shooting 3's.....he's shooting mid range shots....driving in the lane etc etc.
Earlier in the year Doug used to rush he shots. But as of late he's starting to pace himself and take higher percentage shots. Which is why his shooting percentages are so high.
