The only presidential candidate I would support is Bernie Sanders. He is problematic as well but I do think his class-based socialistic economic policies and overall consistency are the most beneficial to Black people of all the current candidates. Generally speaking, I support leftist overall economic policies and what could be called “right-wing” social policies on issues like immigration and trans cisgender bullshit (which doesn’t include gay marriage). I think the majority of black people lean this way politically as well.
As far as Congressional candidates, I support ones like Georgia’s Tamara Johnson Shealey who incorporate an overt ADOS acknowledgement and agenda in their platforms.
As far as “the Squad”...... they’re hit-and-miss. As I said in another post, I don’t support “intersectionality” and POC/extreme LGBT/pro-immigration/feminism type politics.

IMO, there are certain things black folk should be against, due to our personal history, kids in cages and separating families among them. Do we have to allow immigration or be for it? No one is saying you need to march and protest, make friends or have folks in your house, I just want the bare minimum of keeping folks out of power who allow it.

I don’t think any of the others can be persuaded and lobbied anyway because they were never genuine in the first place. Warren used to be GOP. Biden may as well have been, considering his right-wing, pro-segregationist views. So they are already hostile to black issues! Regardless of what they say! Look at the track record!
