A few fags in my thread trying to save face (and make excuses) But there's to much egg on it already.
The reason whites flooded into the Republican party was the Supreme Court decision (Brown v Board of Education) which made it difficult to do, although not impossible fucked up shit to us through the government. Back in the day, the government openly discriminated against us such as housing, welfare, employment, and even Social Security. Most of us couldn't get Social Security, UI, or FHA loans. Many people thought it was the Democrats embracing Civil Rights legislation.
There is much less wealth inequality if you look at the distribution of wages with the government, while the private sector can pretty much do anything it wants, ask Brian Flores. Knowing whites would flood into the Republican party to privatize everything, the Democrats needed to fill the hole thus voting rights legislation. By pushing everything down to the private sector, the legacy of economic inequality continues.
Do you think they are going to give reparations, knowing they did this back in the day and continue to use the 'free' market to protect their wealth?

77% of Black people lack college degrees. It's probably more like 90% on this board. Some niggas, like Cottonmouf, don't even have a high school diploma. So no, student loan forgiveness isn't a program for the average Black American. I know you "don't care for numbers", but please try again.
