Populism is growing because unchecked capitalism is leaving less and less income and wealth to the lower classes. Elite robber barons push the trickle down theory, that has been proven to be a fallacy. The huge tax cuts that were just implemented were more of the same. Lower to middle class folks who align with the majority are looking for any opportunity to rise and in some cases just stay afloat. They justify exploiting and blaming "others" that are ethnically or socially different from them for not getting their fair share. The 2% at the top laugh all the way to the bank.
Black people do not care about politics! 99% of local and state government is white! 99% of black people voted for Obama because he was Black.
Fuck, I know me and my wife did! The majority of Black people do not have a squeaky clean past that can get past these white people digging that shit up no matter how small.
That keeps the majority of us out of politics. Me and my wife have four degrees between us. I started doing drugs early but never got strung out and was lucky enough to have control and a physiology that doesn't get addicted. Pure luck of the draw tho!!
