Who here has surveillance cameras set up at your crib? Need advice on a nice setup.

Is that the same as having a DVR to record everything full time? Local storage is important to me, for control & security, then I'd like to have access to MY DVR remotely via internet... What is that called?

If you wanted to constantly record you would have to keep the cameras plugged into an outlet or buy the solar chargers and upgrade the plan to one that offers constant recording. I really like my Arlos......I really cant figure it out, but it seems like the battery life is getting better, the longer I use these things. Did someone in this thread say that Arlo makes doorbells?? May have to switch over from Ring. Dont like a mismatched camera setup.

i love my arlos as well.i have the arlo pro 2 with the 2 way audio and its the best money i spent.well worth it and the price isn't that bad.i also have the solar panels on mines so i dint have to take them down to charge them.

Seeing as how this thread is now 6 months old since the last post, any new suggestions for a hardwired camera system? Don't wanna deal with wireless as the bandwidth won't be as strong or consistent and is more prone to potential interference/hacking than a hard wired system.
