RIP Whitney Houston. :(

- When I was a teenager, the VERY FIRST time I ever kissed my first girlfriend... a Whitney Houston song played in the background. Needless to say, I will never forget her song: "Saving All My Love". :smh:

- Years later, my college sweethart resembled Whitney. :(

- Plus her music ALWAYS inspired & lifted my mother's spirits. :(

Her music was a very big part of my youth... also meant alot to women very close to my heart... plus inspired millions of other music fans around the world. :(

She will be dearly missed. :(

I posted the crackhead comment on facebook and got ripped by all and sundry for that shit.

Truth is she was talented and a crackhead (oops could have been talking about Amy Winehouse).

My concern is why we excuse public icons all the time - "Oh she had a great voice"...Well OJ was a great football player..hellooooo - nuff said.

Public eye and talent = BE A GOOD ROLE MODEL

Still RIP Whitney!

Think on this,
As macabre as it may sound...

But The (faux) Girlfriend and I were chatting about the fact that The Grammys has been in a ratings decline in recent years. And that Houston's death may have been a way of improving ratings for the show (and The Oscars) this year.

The Girlfriend, who's had some ties to HollyWood in the 80s and 90s told that HollyWood is sick enough to pull some shit like that. She said she wouldn't be surprised.

I've been seeing this "theory" posted over the web in the last several hours.

Who the fuck knows anymore?

Not subscribing to this theory, but my wife was like, "Wow, first Michael, now Whitney." I told her everyone dies, ain't nothing new. And she said, "No, I mean how they both died before award shows." For the record, she don't think anything fishy happened, she was just amused by the coincidence.

The difference is, there is a time and a place for everything! Just because a person has weaknesses in their life doesn't discredit their achievements and contributions! It's already been discussed her lifes issues, and bad choices, and hours after her death is a time of positive reflection... But, I don't know why I am wasting my time acknowledging the comments of buffoons and idiots, who are basically attention whoring and are really stupid assed people who have never and will never accomplishing anything relevant. The fact that one of you went on Facebook to get attention, then brought it hear and made reference to the Facebook comment, shows just how much bitchassness you are dealing with on a daily basis!!! It must really such to be all of you... Now go and fuck yourselves accordingly.... :smh:

Fam, about 15 minutes ago I cried. Don't do that often. In fact, the last time was Michael.

I woke up, realized I wasn't dreaming, and decided to look at YouTube videos from the first album.

Man, I was alright until I got to "I Wanna Dance with Somebody". Man...I just bust out cryin'.:crying:

I appreciated Whitney while she was alive, I did. However, once you know there is not a chance in hell that they will create something new, one gains an eve greater appreciation.

I looked at her videos...music game is just not what it was and/or talent is not what it once was.

When is the last time, in the modern era, where you can sit a talent in front of the mic...and that's it?:smh:

No special effects, no choreographed routines, hell if the band couldn't show up, you still got a sold out show.

That...muthafucka...could SANG! I forgot, I did.
Lets be real, Whitney Houston was a crack head :smh:

If it's true she "drowned", she was defiantly murdered.. No prints.. Prescription drugs (easy to put in a drink to make her go unconscious), then push her under the water... :smh:

Oh ok. Sorry to hear about your loss. I was at a funeral earlier in the day also only to make it home and hear about Whitney. Man, I used to be in love with Whitney in the early 90's. I had like 3 posters of her on the wall in my room. lol
