I'm not asking for candidates to support, I'm asking how you envision this working the processes involved. If it's just a question of what would happen, imo black folks would be screwed even more. You don't concede power and willingly give up your seat and let someone replace you, period.
I can list a million ways detailing how and why, but I've done that plenty of times over the years, including last week.
Now if you say you think that if black folks do ABC it will lead to DEF and GHI will result, I am happy to tell you why I think you are right or wrong and speculate on outcomes and consequences, but I'm not writing a thesis just for the hell of it. It feels like I'm doing your homework assignment.

The constant videos being shown on every network of young mostly minority young adults looting and ransacking department stores, is the best campaign commercial for the conservative party. The message is simple... "Is this what you want to be in charge of this country". You get your beer from the Indians, your nails by the Chinese, your hair from Koreans, your Louie, Gucci, Prada from Whites and homes built by Mexicans. When was the last time you hired a black plumber, electrician, HVAC or mechanic. I wish there was a RESET button, that we could use to get the black community on track. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening over the next 10 years.

The world has changed.
Black people used to be able to make a living in trades, and thats not really the case anymore with inflation. Plenty of black men in the good days of America who could take a factory job in a place like Detroit and could have a wife who stayed at home when the kids were little(and worked part time as they got in school) and were the black upper class. You cant do that anymore. The jobs, if they are still there, dont pay enough.
When the jobs stop paying, men stop having any authority in the community.

In a technological world it will be really ugly. I work for a big tech company, and I see where its going. We bring over H1B, and their kids work in these industries. not just tech, but business...ect and they dont have any respect for us. They view us as the lesser class, and treat us the same way they treat the lessers back home. A white American will be as racist as the day is long, but if they have got to professional america they will show nice. We have a shared culture in that regard. Someone like Vivek Ramaswamy though? He feels nothing but hatred in his heart for those he deem less than, and he feels its his right to keep them down.

When Trump first came on the scene he was treated as a joke. But he said such outrageous things that got clicks and views that the news kept bringing him back. That is what legitimized him and that's when people started getting mad and freaking out. The news wanted controversy and ratings and Trump provided both.

We also couldn't get good election coverage. I remember being pissed because there would be coverage of a Hillary event and MSNBC would cut away for some Trump BS because he was better for ratings. They only stayed with her long enough to see if she'd clapback at Trump. Dems were doing social media stuff, but that is scattered and doesn't take the place of main stream media coverage. Also there were all the negative stories about Hillary and her emails while Trump coverage was actually a celebration of his poor behavior.
Rachel Maddow tries never to cover Trump or mention his name. Suddenly her coverage changed and she was covering his events. You could tell she was pissed about it and eventually she went back to her normal coverage, but they got orders from the top to cover him.
I can think of a dozen reasons why black folks sitting out is bad, but I've been typing about this for 2+ days straight. The OP is suggesting we don't engage in two party politics at all for 10 years.

When was the last time you had to get something repaired/replaced in your home? When was the last time you had to get something repaired on your vehicle? I'm not talking about working on an assembly line putting rear view mirrors on a Ford pickup. Samsung make some of the worst refrigerators, that have control modules going out constantly. A "blue collar" technician will charge you at least 400.00 in labor to change out a 30.00 part. Like I said before on this board, I do HVAC work on the side. I can change a control board, clean a condenser unplug a clogged drain, and leave with 1200.00 dollars in my pocket.
