I thought Dr. Truth was all fun and gameS, but when you read through this shit, it's twisted as fuck. I could see him just playing a character but damnnnnnnnn....he sounds arrogantly confident on his belief he's a doctor. This is on some whole other shit:

I am a Psychiatrist. I did one year of Internal Medicine Residency before switching over to Psychiatry.

Actually I am a Medical Doctor. Psychiatrists are Physicians. All Psychiatrists are Medical Doctors or DO's. Psychiatry is just one specialty like Family Practice etc.

Psychiatrists are not Ph'D's you ignorant borderline blind dyke. Proctology also has nothing to do with "Dicks" it's about the colon and cancers of the rectum. You god damn 8th grade dropouts are pathetic.

I'm a MD but my specialty is Psychiatry. I'm not a Family Practice Physician I'm not a fucking surgeon. Jesus christ. Why do you think all MD's are the same? There's over 30 Specialties MD's can choose. Read a book.

I recently obtained Board Certification and have been practicing since 2006 I work part time with another senior Psychiatrist who owns the practice. I do mostly locums per diem work where i work maybe two weeks out of the month.

I just finished not that long ago at 29. I didn't miss out on too much because I did my undergrad at FAMU . You have to want to help people, you may start off talking about money stuff but if you're not about helping people then you'll end up dropping out or being a shitty doctor with Malpractice claims and no practice.

Med school is hard but manageable. I'm talking about Residency, specifically 1rst year residency. You will not have time, that is when you're on call and working 80-90 hours a week. The only people you hang out with are fellow residents and patients. Who you going to fuck other than other residents and even then you'll be disturbed in the middle of scrub sex because you're paged. But forget about that, you just want to sleep for 10 mins if you can. You will not think about sex, you will not even be able to think about anything but work. I did a 1 years residency in Internal Medicine and finished up in Psychiatry. Internal Medicine is NO JOKE during PGY1. All Residents will struggle to the point of questioning why the hell did you choose to go this route, it gets easier during your 3rds and 4th year.

200-220k per year for Psychiatry starting out. As a resident we make around 35 grand per year. It sucks but you manage because you live in a cheap apt. With roommates.

When I first came out here it was bad, very bad, but wasn't this bad. Now might be a good time to buy for a new home buyer but it's too late for all that. I was renting while I was in Finishing my residency trying to save some money for a crib. Even then rent was like 1000 for a 1 bedroom. The thing is back east shit's just mad depressing which is why I left. jersey is depressing. The weather the scenery. Just had to get away. I'm not angry, It's just I get attacked on here 24-7 so I'm on the defensive.

Why? There's no reasoning behind it. This forum is for porn, jokes and laughs. Why the hell yall taking it so serious? 8 Years? for what? Post BA med school and Residency? You can get a masters in 1-2 years. MBA included. I went to school to learn and meet people. The contacts you obtain in college are priceless. You are in school with the future leaders of the world. These people help you advance in life. College sparked my interest in shit I would never have given a second thought to. Medicine being one, which I am now apart of. I learned so much in college that alone is worth more than anything.

Your experience does not mean shit on a macro scale. You are one person and live in an over saturated shit hole like Atlanta. That does not happen to everybody everywhere else. People who are not spoiled dip shits work in college, intern in college, take night classes and work. I worked in college. I got through undergrad, went to Medical School, and made it to residency. 8 Years right there. Once in residency we make a shitty 42k per year but you know what? It pays off in the end. You can bitch and moan about your situation all you want, but maybe you need to look at going back and getting a masters in something useful, what do you have your degree in ?

Ignore the doctor worshipers that think it's like seeing an alien to obtain an M.D or D.O. It takes 4 years to get a medical degree, in order to practice you need to do a residency in one of the specialties. I chose psychiatry, which is a 4 year residency not including an internship which usually is in internal medicne. You can see patients your 2nd year in med school under a practicing physicians supervision, usually in low income settings or jails but you can't prescribe. You need a dea license. I did a fellowship in forensics which was an additional year. My loans were around 250k but you get paid during residency, only around 47k though but it's something.

What specialty are you talking about? For family or internal medicine private practice is not the way to go anymore. It's getting hard to break into a practice. My pcp friends are doing hospitalist work now. Private practice does not pay anymore with the insurance and overhead costs. Better to get some specialized training and become a hospitalist. Also more physicians are going into specialties like surgery or psychiatry as primary care will eventually be taken over by nurse practitioners..

More satisfying than doing the whole physically sick patient rounds. I practiced as an internist during internship for 1 year at drew and that was enough. When I did the psych rounds I knew this was it, surgery rounds not my thing, obgyn, no thanks they stick you with rape victims, too much, pcp too repetitive. Psychiatry is ever evolving and we can treat both mentally and physically. Some of The most physically Ill people have severe psych disorders.

Tell your wife to get her Ph.D. in Nursing, they are already starting to tell some NP"s to do this to weed them out. It will be mandatory in the next 10 years. At the hospital I work at half the nurses are already in the PhD program.

I'm not getting your fucked up reference. You do know Psychiatrists are medical doctors that have DEA's for prescriptions right? Psychiatry Board Certification comes with passing the exam we take in August after completing residency. Most Psychiatrists are NOT board certified. It's not very necessary to obtain boards for our specialty. I'd rather do a fellowship in Addiction medicine anyways.

Yes I'm a Physician. (Psychiatrist) I don't deal with that sort of thing anymore, but during Med School and Internship we do rounds in several specialties, OBGYN, Family Med, Internal Med, General Surgery etc. Internship was done in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine so I spent 6 Months working in the ER before I did my 4 years Psychiatry residency.

It's nothing son. I'll have my wife get some of my older books used in Med school out also. What I wont post is my MD Physician and Surgeon Wallet Card, Medical Diploma , Residency completion Diploma, my DEA etc etc. None of that shit that can jeopardize my privacy.

Don't trip off the boards, you have a long way to go before you even get to that point, you'll have to pick a specialty also in order to pass the boards. After your internship you'll get an Idea of what area you want to focus in.

Have you done Neuroanatomy yet? You'll start seeing some patients next year if not sooner, you nervous? lol.

What school are you at? Are you getting your MD or DO or are Are you doing a Residency in Family Practice? General Surgery is ok, but I would recommend going into Radiology.

We learned about this in Medical school. The Cheif Resident of my Psychiatry residency ended up going back for two years to do an Internal Medicine residency with an HIV sub-specialty. He said docs were very close to breaking ground with a cure for HIV but there was a protein in the virus that kept interfering. I wonder what he's up to now.

I was here when he first came here with that Dr. Truth bullshit. Nigga couldn't spell, or write, a lick. I knew he was fake: There is no way someone with an A.A. degree, let alone a Doctorates, could write as horribly as he did back then. I confronted him about and he claimed that not all Doctors write well, and that I was putting doctors on a pedestal. So I let it go, a while.

The next time he exposed himself he claimed that he had dreads, and wore an excessive amount of jewelry, when he went to prisons to give psychiatric help to inmates. I was like I flat out knew he was lying when he said that he was a state licensed doctor who refused to treat white patients. So, approximately 5 years later, he finally reveals some truth (do niggas really believe he's married to an Asian doctor?).

I've been on the board a very long time. I can't remember anyone perpetrating as big, and extensive, of a fraud as Truth. Not only am I amazed that he's still on the board with that screen name, I'm shocked that so many people accept the fact that he's a pathological liar, and cape for him.
