I have to use premium too. My car gets 20/gallon, I put on 15,000 miles a year, I'm a full time student and I manage just fine. You drive a sports sedan, I drive a sports car. And I whip that shit.

When I first came out here it was bad, very bad, but wasn't this bad. Now might be a good time to buy for a new home buyer but it's too late for all that. I was renting while I was in Finishing my residency trying to save some money for a crib. Even then rent was like 1000 for a 1 bedroom. The thing is back east shit's just mad depressing which is why I left. jersey is depressing. The weather the scenery. Just had to get away. Umm no offense, but are you guys sure that your cars are REQUIRED to use premium or is it RECOMMENDED? I have heard and read that the use of regular gas in a premium gas RECOMMENDED car won't kill it. It will only cause it to loose SOME of it's performance and fuel economy. The computer brain/sensors in the car will compensate for the lower octane. Even REQUIRED vehicles CAN run on lower octane gas if one keeps the speed under 65, stop fast accelerations and listens for engine knocking.
I'd do some searches about your particular vehicle's engine on regular gas if I were you. Might save a little money.

put it this way....if u have a high performance car....and u put low octane gas in there........ur car drives sluggish when u try to speed past someone u will just kinda sit there and then eventually build speed.
It makes a huge difference.........but what they dont tell u is Every Single Gas station has the exact same Gas. The only difference is the Aditives like Techron

Inside Line has learned from supplier sources that the upcoming Accord diesel is likely to be a torquey 2.5-liter unit that gets 45 mpgon the highway and is inspired by diesels from Fiat and Renault. Honda is also said to be working on multiple-displacement diesels for the U.S. market. The move toward diesels by Honda is seen as a very significant step that may ultimately rewrite the book on diesels, since Honda is widely viewed as a leader in powertrain engineering. The Accord diesel is also expected to help Honda regain sales momentum that it has lost to Toyota in the alt-fuel fight.
The Accord Hybrid puts a premium on performance above fuel economy and is priced nearly $4,000 more than a conventional model. The automaker sold approximately 5,600 Accord Hybrid models last year, compared with more than 31,000 hybrid Civics. Toyota sold nearly 107,000 Prius hybrids in 2006.
