The Official Flash Thread Discussion

In DC Comics… Cisco Ramon becomes the superhero known as “Vibe” who can manipulate Sonic vibrations at will.

Vibe's sonic powers deal with 'interdimensional physics' & enable him to create shock waves of enormous strength.

He has the power to shatter concrete or steel.... PLUS... he is the only person who can ‘disrupt’ the Speed Force itself  (making him one of the few characters in the DC Universe who poses a serious threat to the Flash).

SIDENOTE: In the comics, Amanda Waller herself said: "Cisco Ramon might be one of the most powerful super-humans on the planet. He wields vibrational powers that could in theory shake the Earth apart. He's the only person we know of who can find and track interdimensional breaches".

I agree with SilentKing… I also think the tv writers will use some of the “Flashpoint” (time travel) storylines to explain what is happening to Cisco (but add their own twist to it).

My guess is…. his dreams are most likely the very early stages of him beginning to gain his ‘Vibe’ powers.

If so, pretty sure in Season 2 we will probably see Cisco fully evolve into Vibe.

Thanks.

I know @ first I was like "They killed Cisco?!?" but when Barry went back he was alive, and since the tidal wave never happened no stressful situation came up for Iris to confess her feelings for Barry, so I thought Cisco was ok as well and that they were just continuing with the new timeline, and as we ALL learned from "Back To The Future" once you're on a new timeline, there is NO MEMORY of the old timeline, @ least on that particular timeline, Quantum Physics of course could apply (as we've learned from "Quantum Leap" & various episodes of "Star Trek:The Next Generation", lol!

see, the thing is, Flash was good from jump. Arrow was not that good, then it got better in season two, because there was more action and less romance. Now here we are in season 3 and we got Felicity crying every episode, Laurel just sucks and now the sister is becoming annoying. Even Roy is starting to get emotional. How the hell is Oliver supposed to function with all this crap around him. In Flash, the helpers stay in their lane. Even Iris started off annoying, but they curbed it. She was about to be headed down the Laurel path. There really is no one on Flash that you can say "this character sucks, get rid of him/her".

Arrow just needs to go back to season 2 formula. More action and less crying and whining.

Yeah i'll just stop reading right here!..:smh:.

She's doing what most women do ...being an emotional terrorist. Manipulating Eddie to do what she says or she's out

Eddie should be like bye ...lots of women available.

That's the other part I don't get. If your "dating" someone why should you be obligated to tell them everything?
When you love someone you tell them everything????

Really hoping they'll chill on the Arrow crossovers. Arrow bout done jump the shark making dayum near every whitebread a ninja super hero. Once the sister and girlfriend turned into ninja's I was out.

Can The Flash TV-Show at this young stage survive without Harrison Wells aka Thawne?

Follow-me here. Yes! These past episodes with Barry and the gang getting closer to figuring out and eventually confronting Harrision is very exciting. But, How is it going to resolve itself? I hope its NOT with them getting rid of the character as a result of the gang of Superpower hereos eventually defeating him and thus eliminating his character from the show.

The actor, Tom Cavanagh is by farrrr the most polished and interesting character on the show. He spends most of his time from our perspective in a wheel chair and yet, he absolutely captures your attention.

The folks in charge of the show, IMO here need to be very careful. Because, The Flash TV-Show looks and feels very different w/o the Harrision's Wells character. Just ask Arrow what happened when they killed of Moira...

peace

All that talking, conspiring, whispering & suspicious behavior in that kat's facilities though where he has talking AI coming up out of the wall plus his high design crib with no video camera over the doorway?

They're way too caught up in their emotions thinking Wells/Bard is some crippled clown.

Plus Sisco can see/recall the alt time line but the Dr. chick can't recall that empty wheelchair?

I'm gonna let them slide with that as I like the pace they're setting for the show.

i like it on the flash tho:lol:

Anyone have a problem with the flash and crew locking up bad guys in solitary confinement? They lock these people up with no court or law and no plan to let them out, isn't that some form of torture?

It's just one of those things about the show as an audience your just going to have to let them slide on. Certainly, at least, until they're bought to task on it.

I have more of a problem with Barry showing his secret identity to the bad guys after they lock them up.

At the end of the episodes, they show Barry and crew standing in front of the glass discussing the metahumans as if they can't see them.

speaking of jumping the shark

Flash pissed me off last night when they finally catch everyman.. and they give him to two GIRLS!? handcuff him in the back of a goddamn honda fit :hmm:

really? :smh:

By far the most authentic and best superhero (non animated) show on tv ever.

really ? ever ? Hell I'll still watch the old Batman series to this day, and what about the live-action Spider-Man show that was on wayyy back in the day ?

After watching Daredevil all the CW shows look like trash to me. Especially the Flash episode with the "Bug-Eyed-Bandit".....:smh::smh::smh:

.

Yeah he's a essential part of the show as Dr. Wells. I've been a fan of Cavanagh since his guest roles on Scrubs. I thing they have to continue to evolve the other characters. Cisco & the other chick will get super powers at some point. Cisqo will probably get his powers for a brief instance while fight the Reverse Flash before seasons end.

Moira leaving the Arrow show wasn't the drop off for the show this season. It's been shitty writing.

A lot of commenters seem to forget this is the first season and everyone is not as developed as their comic book counterparts.

None of the other characters have that "it" individually or as a group that the Cavanagh brings. Characters like him and Moira bring a sense of responsibility/authenitcness and maturity to these types of shows. It absolutely is part of the "believability factor"

While Moira on her own wasn't that complete example. Her presence along with Malcolm and Walter and the older Slade adds season depth to a show.

Indeed, I would also point out alot of people forget this is Arrow's 3rd season. Arrow's 1st and especially 2nd season were nice. Let's see what happens to The Flash after they've burned through the juicy source material by the end of season 2 if not sooner.

What about how quickly Barry spotted him at the airport?

x-ray machine

Exactly! She/he changed forms several times right in front of the xray machine. However, can someone riddle me this: Initially they said that Every man had to touch person that he morpked into, which was clearly not the case. Wassup with that?

Everyman transforms at will with anyone he has come into (incidental) contact with.
Either he has touched them at some point... or they touched him somehow. :dunno:

It doesn't necessarily have to happen right on the spot. :smh:

He can touch them today, but wait until next week to actually shapeshift if he wanted to.

He 'stores' bodies like a memory card / flash drive.

What the fuck is up with the A.T.O.M? Shit's corny. Bootleg Iron Man corny. When he going to shrink? I like CIsco and hope he is a mainstay. I wonder if characters like Savitar will come into it, I hope so and hope the background of the speed force will be introduced and maybe some possible JLA alternate world stuff. Yea....and some motherfucking Wally West too. Fuck it, Impulse too. Go all out.
