they could have their owen spinoff show...lol ...u know it`s about some action when they on the screen ... :bravo:

Brainwave on some Proff X shit ....

Finished watching last night's episode this morning.

Pretty good episode.

The fight scene at the beginning with Stargirl and Tigress was done well.

Sportsmaster fight scene with Pat was good.

The end of the show with them discovering what the ISA plans are was pretty wild. I was expecting something sinister with how they were talking about thru-out the season. Stargirl and Houman's response had me laughing and I was agreeing with them too. HaHa!!!

Next week is the Season Finale. It's a 1 hour episode.

Looking forward to it. If you have not seen this series, it is a lot better than what you see in the premiere trailer for it.

for some reason i thought that they planted that info to throw them off.

It’s the plan.

They call themselves the Injustice Society of America. The plan follows what Icicle had talked about earlier in the season of making right for basically people getting screwed over by the system.

The issue is like they figured out a percentage of people will naturally resist and it will kill them which is about 20+ Million.

Man.
This finale did more in one hour than the CW shows do all season.

I'm so choked up right now :crying::crying::crying:

only thing i wish was the fights were longer ...

seemed kinda quick to me ....but def dope ...

I don't want to comment about the "stingers" ending until other peeps here have seen it.
I will say that the first and third ones were pretty obvious if you're a "comic head".
The second one threw me for a "AAAAWWWW SHIT!!!" loop.
And that was the ultimate Comic Head shit.
Especially for DC fans.

You're right though.
Shit was kind of quick.
But the show went all out.

Had kind of figured theyd do the whole"destroy the machine" thing in the final part so they could do the pre-requisite shot of the crowd cheering..

Grundy was on some Hulk smash shit against the robot ....lol ...kinda felt bad for him tho ...

Thought SG was going to start talking in the third person like in the old Superfriends cartoon after Hourman Jr finished beating him down.."SOLOMON GRUNDY IS NO ANIMAL!!!",etc

SHADE!!! :eek2: Aww shit

I just watched the finale and yes it was pretty good.

Grundy looked and performed well. He actually looked better and performed better than the Hulk in the MCU movies.

And yeah, that Wildcat scene with Brainwave caught me off guard. I was not expecting that. Looking at how she reacted after and later sitting on the bleachers, it looks like she will be going "Wolverine" in Season 2.

I'am not familiar with JSA, what was that jewel that Shiv was looking for and held up?

It looks like the Magician dude and whoever that shadow figure is in the painting were the ones actually calling the shots.

The final scene came off interesting. We will learn soon who he really is.

Overall, it was a good season, hopefully Season 2 will connect the show with the other CW series.

The mystery of the pink pen will finally be revealed on DC's Stargirl.
EW has exclusively learned that comedian Jim Gaffigan has been cast for season 2 of the CW's latest superhero series. He will voice the CGI character of Thunderbolt, a magical, electrical, fun-loving, wish-granting pink imp from the mysterious land of Bahdnesia.
Thunderbolt is extremely powerful, but according to the official character description, "the wishes he grants often cause more trouble than the wish-asker would ever expect. But despite his somewhat constant supernatural disasters, the Thunderbolt's heart is always in the right place, even if it is wounded by the friends he has lost throughout his long existence."
In the Stargirl comics upon which the series is based, Thunderbolt was trapped inside a pen for 10 years, and Stargirl viewers saw Courtney (Brec Bassinger) steal a pink pen from the Justice Society of America's costume stash early in season 1. Pat (Luke Wilson) has repeatedly warned Courtney that the pen is a powerful, dangerous weapon not to be unleashed, but Gaffigan's casting means someone is going to click that pink pen in season 2. Will the new JSA recruit someone to wield that pen intentionally, or will someone — cough, Mike (Trae Romano), cough — click it by accident, freeing Thunderbolt into the world?

"The CW's Stargirl Casts Its Jakeem Thunder | CBR" https://www.cbr.com/cw-stargirl-jakeem-thunder-alkoya-brunson/amp/

The CW's Stargirl has recruited a new member of the Justice Society of America.

According to Decider, Alkoya Brunson will join Season 2 in a recurring role as Jakeem Thunder, the new wielder of the Thunderbolt pen. Brunson's casting hits two weeks after comedian Jim Gaffigan was announced to voice Thunderbolt, a wish-granting creature from the fifth dimension.

Although Jakeem has not yet appeared on the show, Stargirl already paved the way for his arrival. In the Season 1 episode "Wildcat," Pat Dugan's son Mike casually mentioned Jakeem. As everyone got ready to go in the morning, Mike asked to invite his friend to dinner: "I wanted to bring my buddy Jakeem over." He never turned up on-screen in Season 1, but the Thunderbolt pen did when Courtney stole the JSA's equipment from the Hall of Justice and brought it home. Ever since, the Thunderbolt has remained in her room, in a mug full of other pens.

The Flash is speeding over to DC's Stargirl.
EW has exclusively learned that John Wesley Shipp will guest-star in season 2 of the CW's high-school superhero drama. Shipp will appear in episode 9, reprising his role as old-school speedster Jay Garrick from The Flash.
According to the official description, Jay Garrick plays a role "in a pivotal flashback episode" that establishes "the Golden Age Flash as a member of Earth-2's Justice Society of America." Per the CW, this miniature crossover will "officially bring Stargirl [Brec Bassinger] into CW's post-Crisis CWverse alongside The Flash, Superman & Lois, Batwoman, Black Lightning, Supergirl, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow."

This is the first time Stargirl will feature a character crossover from an Arrowverse show, as it wasn't possible before Crisis on Infinite Earths established that Bassinger's stars-and-stripes-clad teen hero resides on Earth-2 (with the Arrowverse shows all taking place on Earth-Prime now). This casting helps reinforce Stargirl's place in the greater post-Crisis multiverse.
Stargirl season 1 ended with the new JSA — Courtney/Stargirl, Yolanda/Wildcat (Yvette Monreal), Beth/Dr. Mid-Nite (Anjelika Washington), Rick/Hourman (Cameron Gellman), and Pat/S.T.R.I.P.E. (Luke Wilson) — foiling the Injustice Society of America's plans to brainwash the country. But the finale also introduced new threats like Cindy (Meg DeLacy) finding a gem holding DC supervillain Eclipso and former ISA member the Shade returning to fill the power vacuum in the decimated evil group. And a post-credit sequence revealed that presumed-dead Sylvester Pemberton, a.k.a. Starman (Joel McHale), is very much alive and looking for Pat.

Shipp originally played the Scarlet Speedster on the 1990 TV series The Flash. His tenure in the Arrowverse began with playing Henry Allen, father of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), but he has played several different versions of the Flash since then, with appearances on Supergirl and Arrow. Shipp is also known for roles on Dawson's Creek and Teen Wolf.

‘Stargirl’ Season 2 Trailer Introduces Green Lantern’s Daughter

Green Lantern returns to live-action with Alan Scott’s daughter, Jade.

PUBLISHED 2 HOURS AGO

The first trailer for DC’s Stargirl Season 2 reveals the first look at Ysa Penarejo as Jade, Green Lantern’s daughter. The newly-formed Justice Society of America also faces a menacing new foe in the action-packed footage.

Ever since Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) first recruited the new JSA, fans have wondered who would eventually wield Alan Scott’s lantern ring. Penarejo is introduced prominently in the trailer as Jade and is already shown sporting the ring and the lantern that powers it. In the comics, she is born with super abilities after her father’s exposure to the Lantern power. Although she battles Stargirl in the teaser, it seems likely she becomes the next member of the JSA.

Additionally, the magical genie Thunderbolt makes an appearance, which will presumably be used by Alkoya Brunson’s Jakeem Thunder. Jonathan Cake also makes his debut as classic JSA antagonist Shade and is seen throughout the trailer while Meg DeLacy appears briefly as the villainous Cindy Burman. However, Nick E. Tarabay’s Eclipso is notably absent. The first season finale had Cindy obtain a crystal that contained the evil supervillain Eclipso, whose make-up-heavy look was revealed officially a while back.

The introduction of a live-action Green Lantern has been a long time coming for fans of the JSA. Despite Alan Scott not making an appearance in Season 1, it was very clear the folks behind the series intended to see his mantle carried over at some point. Introducing Jade as the show’s main lantern makes sense as it also allows for HBO Max’s upcoming Green Lantern series to showcase their own Alan Scott. Penarejo joins a stacked cast that includes Joel McHale as Starman, Luke Wilson as Pat Dugan, Anjelika Washington as Dr. Midnite, Yvette Monreal as Yolanda Montez, Hunter Sansone as Icicle Jr., and Cameron Gellman as Hourman.

DC's Stargirl premieres on The CW on Tuesday, August 10.

Just watched the season premiere.

It was a slow burn in order to bring in new storylines.

The end introducing Green Lantern's daughter was done well. Good fight sequence which saved the episode.

Almost expecting Jade to say "There are others like me out there..including one who's being hesitant to answer the call.." making a reference to Diggle :roflmao2:

Oh, she's looking for her brother. I knew there was something missing from season 1 which made it so good. They will definitely stick to the comic material for him.

OK what exactly is the time period this show is supposed to be set in.. Alan Scott was the first lantern and this is his daughter

but this dude just whipped out a iPhone? ...

Just watched the last two episodes of Stargirl this morning.

This series has kicked it up a notch in story.

Shade came back and we got a display of his powers. Dude put Stargirl and her friends in their place while sitting down behind a table with his tea. The actor playing him is cast perfectly.

ThunderBolt made his debut. I expected him to look stupid because of the level of SFX/VFX are in these CW shows, but he came out looking good.

We found out why Shade is back and Eclypso will make his debut in next week's episode.

Looking forward to it.

It is current time in relation to the other shows..

The question is how did Crisis affect them which has not been answered.

John Diggle and The Golden Age Flash are suppose to debut this season so we may get answers when they show up.

This show proved what many have said on the board. You don’t need constant fight scenes to have a great show.

unlike the flash, I like how they have multiple layers with their villains
