nah frank with thirty plus milly, too many innocent people wouldve been going down with him....

with that little bit of money he had in the safe, if had his soul back, he couldve easily flipped a couple
of birds he wouldve never been what he was, but he would at least be able to afford a roof over his head
and some clean clothes. I always hated how greedy street drug lords are..... the Hoods across america would be much different.
if muthafuckas just made their fifteen to twenty milly, then in five years move over and let the next team come up...
there was more than enough money to go around .. but the fuckin greed, snowfall did a great job displaying,
how that greed eats you up from the inside.... and leaves you a soulless shell.. All hoods in America
have their own version of Snowfall... See Alpo for New york Citys version...
Loved this series... but the ending of season four I think when he put down the cane and walked off without a limp..
on some keyser sosa shit.. that by far was the best season!!!
To step away from the finale for a minute.
Most of, if not damn near all of that cast was not from Los Angeles, and early in the series in interviews, Damson talked about having WC as a dialect coach while I'm not trying to take the shine off of Damson's skills as an actor, I want to highlight WC's work as a dialect coach. If you hear Damson in interviews, it's obvious that WC did a great job with him and did a great job with the rest of the cast.

Remember one important thing, Franklin was finished with the game for good. He was going to take his 70 mil, go legit and ride off into the sunset with V. At that moment he was clear headed, focused and precise.
He could have kept the downtown property, V would still be with him and once the baby was born he would have been even more focused.
The issues for Franklin didn't arise until he lost his money. As long as he had his money he was on point.
So if he would have had the 37 mil, his trajectory would have been in line with past seasons as far as business goes.
Good points, that was fucked up how the cia agent just TOOK all his shit... and thought nothing of it..
he really saw Franklyn as a piece of shit to be discarded....

That wasn't the password in the wallet. That was the account number. He couldn't move the money until he had the password.
Yea Teddy was delusional. He tried to justify in his mind that taking Franklin's money was patriotic somehow and he was doing it for the country, when in actuality he was just as bad, if not worse than Franklin.
I think the lady Teddy was involved with was a nurse or something, not sure if she was some type of agent.
TV and its moral policing of stories with Black People in them. I'm tired of make-believe always telling us that we can never win no matter what. I feel like Franklin was young enough to be able to redeem himself if given a chance in some kind of way. Loen was able to redeem himself, why not Franklin? To be quite honest I know people that flipped the game into legitimate businesses as I'm sure some of you do as well. That's what I was hoping for and wanted to see.
We did see a black man make it as well as a black woman. Leon and Wanda made the right choice and was rewarded for it.
I was routing for Franklin in the early seasons too but I realized he was too far gone to make it out.
Finale was excellent. Idris is a star and I cant wait to see what else he does.
The way Franklin spiraled downward was crazy to see in that episode. Mans tried to take Leon's money with the same logic that Teddy used to take his.
The way they snuck in that Boyz N the Hood filming was a nice tribute to John Singleton.
Those bloodshot eyes and the way he said he was proud of Leon at the end was def a moment.
Overall dope series.

I agree, but the only problem with frank is that his ego got him fucked up...many people make it out and do things differently basically leon...maybe not the way leon did it, but still doing something to keep moving forward...and yes i have seen a few survive but most fall...shit frank chick even gave him a way out to sell some stuff.. his ego got in the way again... o well...some just never learn!

There's also a lot of folks in prison or dead too. The show did what you asked. Some got out, some got killed, some got out at a higher cost. Sometimes the people you root for, loose.

I also like how they didn’t give us the “dead or in jail” ending for Franklin. I feel like that ending would’ve time-stamped Franklin’s life and he would’ve always been remembered as a king pin. It was realistic to watch him unravel due to his demons…. and he did it right in his own community. It allowed for everything to come full circle. And it’s even worse because there is literally nobody coming to save Franklin. The people that could’ve kept him sane are dead or in jail. Even Leon had the sense to leave and the best he can do for Franklin is put his ass in rehab… but he’s so far gone that he probably won’t be able to rebound fully. When people are “gone” like that, they’re pretty much gone.

Franklin had many opportunities to get out of the game but he didn’t want to stop. I will say that Teddy really fµcked him though. I would say Louie started this mess but, honestly, Teddy was going to end up betraying Franklin one way or another.
Franklin got way too greedy and lost his soul. Some of y’all say that Leon should’ve given him the money but ultimately that wasn’t going to help him. He needed to be cut off just like addicts need to be cut off. Franklin’s mind was gone and he was only going to destroy himself and others further. You could see that just by the lack of introspection and ability to pivot when he got desperate.
The only people that showed true intelligence and flexibility in the end were Leon, Wanda, and Skully. They accepted the reality of the situation, surrendered (in a sense), and made some real changes. They’re the only ones that truly remained free.

Good ending as far as Franklin. I can think of a few hustlers that ended up just like him. He should get an award.

Franklin ended up the way he did because of his own greed. Dude still couldn't be cool with selling a stake in that new development and living comfortably off of rent from that South Central LA real estate.

The CIA wasn't really fuckin with Franklin though. Teddy was the one that dealt with Franklin and the CIA was indifferent when it came to Franklin.
Franklin only knew about Teddy and was no real threat to the CIA. Even Teddy's CIA ex-wife told him to give the money back to Franklin.

A lot of Snowfall fans really miss the point of who Teddy is and the power he has, Franklin would never get that money back soon as Teddy would have pulled off Franklns account would have been in the negative again and Teddy would come at him extra hard for torturing him Cissy Jerome and Leon were the only ones that seen the big picture you never win against the Feds or CIA
