By far? Naw, Damson Idris is a hell of an actor. They have a few good actors on that show though.
The thing that really hits me about this show is that most of these actors aren't from LA but do a good job of sounding like it.
It shows the importance of dialect coaches...
And to think Lauren London was the first choice for Louie...smh
That would have been horrible casting and I don't care how cute Lauren is
Angela Lewis is perfect casting for this role and made it memorable.
Scene almost made me tear up too, the shooting and her screaming after reminded me of the scene in Scarface where Tony shot Manny for fucking his sister

What I don't like is they trying to portray Franklin like he so evil since he killed Teddy's father. That was light work compared to the shit they did to other characters They all did fucked up shit. Teddy isn't a victim. He deserves whatever shit that comes his way.

I dig what your saying homie, all I'm saying is Teddy is way worse than Franklin once you scale back the big picture. However they obviously trying to get us to hate Franklin when Teddy is just as vicious and worse. Franklin fucked up his family and friends, while Teddy fucked up the entire black community.

That last episode was wack and a waste of time.The series is ok but it isn't all that. It could have been written better...Example: Franklin called Teddy and told him that he had is father and he wanted his money. He IMMEDIATELY got Teddy's attention and it looked like Teddy could be ready to bargain but instead, Franklin slit his throat. WHY WOULD FRANKLIN DO THAT? No gangster would have killed him without seeing how much Teddy was willing to bargain first. Some of the writing just leaves me scratching my head. The series is just OK to me but you can't compare it to something like Godfather of Harlem... shit is night and day difference.
