Anyone read Green Blood?

The end of the civil war signaled the start of the industrial revolution in the United States and immigrants from all over the world traveled to find their American dream. But what awaited the majority of them was poverty, discrimination and hopelessness. Manhattan, New York was full of immigrants flooding through the ports and the 6th district, Five Points, was considered at the time, the world’s worst slum. The mobsters corrupted the entire area, including the police by paying them off; Five Points was the mob’s territory and they were the law. But even in Five Points, where there seemed to be nothing but robbery, prostitution and murder, showed some signs of hope. Luke Burns was a honest and righteous teenager who realized that the mob was the cause of the harsh lifestyle and that joining the mobsters would not bring him the American dream. But his older brother, Brad Burns, had become the assassin to the biggest mob group of Five Points, the Grave Diggers, a secret he kept from Luke for his own protection. Brad was known as the Grim Reaper and his reputation preceded him as a ruthless and skilled killer.

Great story even though sometimes the Ecchi/Smut is not always necessary.

Story
At the age of sixteen Ryo Narushima was a genius and looked to have no trouble of getting into Tokyo University and joining the elite of society. However, that summer something cracked inside Ryo's head. With a small knife he brutally murdered both of his parents only leaving his sister alive and cowering in a corner. It is at this grotesque incident that our story begins.

Extra Note: At volume 20, the series changed publishers, which created a restart of the chapter numbers.

My Opinion:
THIS is the dirtiest and most grimy manga I've ever read (after Gantz). :eek:
After a long hiatus it's being updated. I keep reading it because I want to see what's going to happen with Ryo.
And the graphics are good.

Yet when the powers of precognition is graced upon a young girl named Tohyama Haruka, she is sought after by a powerful organization. Utilizing her powers, Haruka makes contact with Hijikata Mamoru, a blind swordsman. When cornered by her captors, she proposes an outrageous condition to Mamoru. She wants him to protect her until death do them part.

My Opinion:
Great story. Nice graphics.

Caught up on Gantz and I'm not disappointed at all!!! I was thinking when they finally explained what was happening it wouldn't have lived up to the hype but damn it was good. The only thing I don't like is Tae chan or whatever that homely looking bitch's name is she is the worst character in the series who's only purpose is to fill time.

I still wanna know wtf is up with eren's dad though and where the titans originated...also i'm confused; is this story set in a post modern age, or a medieval fantasy setting?

yea man.... they aint killing one of the best characters in the series....

Although I thought that nigga got clapped up....

This arc is amazing. Pure fire. Doflamingo, Fuji, CP0, Rebecca, Law, Caesar, the Colosseum cats, the dude that runs with blackbeards crew, the dwarves/fairies, there is just too much going on in this arc and I love it. Then they threw big mom up in this bitch...


Time for that vivre card that nami got to help them out.

Also.... Law wasnt ever in danger of dying now that Im typing this shit out. Luffy has to save him and return the favor

yes sir!!!! I noticed that he passed through ole boy's barrier as well... pretty interesting. Each chapter for this manga keeps getting better and better.

This is going to be a monstrous arc for the strawhats

Yeah I remember that fat chic. Remember how Smoker kicked Luffy's ass before he learnt Haki? Smoker has a pretty cool power but all that smoke is useless against a haki user who can just punch through the smoke and get him anytime they want, so I think the same goes for the barrier guy.

Good point..... I guess the admirals are tough bc they are logia users and use haki well. This is going to be interesting to see how things pan out and who the next 2 members of the crew will be.

man idk why people aint on the One Piece manga compared to Naruto. Its such a damn good manga.

So far everything has been on the Strawhats favor, cant wait to see Doflamingo's trump card. One piece kinda drags its plot development so some folks probably find that boring but storyu wise its beating bleach and Naruto.
