Cool. You are reading the Alabasta arc. Forgot what part of the book chap 184 was & had to go through my stash to remind myself. Wait until the fights that Zoro & Luffy has later on. :yes:

Although many say that the story is slow to build up, you will appreciate it later on when you see where they currently are (present chapters) & the shit they had to do to get there. Makes you appreciate the characters all the more.

The Alabasta arc is my favorite arc so far...I didnt notice it was long until I finished it.

The arc was well thought out...Im enjoying reading One Piece alot more that I am with Naruto and Bleach

Every one of the arcs are like that. Everything is so tightly intertwined & he knows when to bring certain characters back after you've been wondering what they have been up to since the last time they appeared. Plus the history he provides for his characters is so rich & fits them well as opposed to some manga where they set up a good story then betray it by having them hyperventilate or some dumb nonsensical shit...

And the arcs get even better than Alabasta. :yes:

Anyone read Fairy Tail...I know the guy who did it use to work under Eichiro Oda(the creator of One Piece)

The Skypiea arc is the shit. Id have to say my favorite so far is the Water 7 arch. Fairy Tail is very promising. Keeps me wanting a new chapter every week.

Too bad they cut the anime too short...it was a good series but atleast it didnt drag out like a certain anime that will remain nameless though

Nah... Sogeking was just a made up name Usopp made up in order to continue to help his teammates after him & Luffy fought over dismantling Going Merry. He could not bear to show his face after their exchange of words, so he created Sogeking for that period of time.

The Enies Lobby Arc is good.


Oda is a very good writer, I might have to find more mangas by him.The storyline,characters and plot is good.

I should be caught with One Piece this weekend but dayum this manga is really good.


I like how Oda focus on other characters but tied them to the main story....Luffy looks nothing like his dad but act more like his grandfather...I hope when Im caught up they have something about Luffy's mom.

Im glad I decided to read One Piece because my friend been trying to get me to read it for 3 years now and I just thought it was stupid but now I regret not reading it earlier.

The Water 7 and the Enie's Lobby arc is one of the best storylines I've read so far..

After I catch up on One Piece,Im gonna continue where I left off in the anime(Skypiea arc)and start reading D Gray man and after that read Kenichi

I had a friend that I was trying to get into reading One Piece for the longest. He thought a story... let alone a manga about pirates would be silly. It wasn't until like about a year ago that he now looks forward to reading it every week. :yes: Oda really knows how to develop his characters & make you want to know more about them as well as wonder how other characters are doing that you have not seen in a while. After One Piece you should read Berserk if you haven't already. That shit is like LOTR meets Hellraiser. Best manga I'm reading so far. Better than even One Piece... & One Piece is really good.

I finally caught up in One Piece never in my life I was very happy about a manga..Full Metal Alchemist was my favorite but One Piece over took it..I even read the collabo Oda did with Toriyama.

I've read some where that One Piece is only half way done,I hope Oda doesnt loose his magic because this could possibly be a top 5 greatest manga of all time.

Usopp is a fuckin beast now.


I hope Oda add more crew members in the near future

My next 4 mangas are:
D Gray Man,Kenichi,Fairy Tale and Berserk

Indeed taking on Hodi with three handicaps; underwater, one eye shut (even though we still havent seen if he has new abilities with the scared eye), and he might not be able to use his 3 sword style considering he needs to hold his breath....I personally think Hodi wouldnt stand a chance on land...

I'm thinking that Zoro does open his scarred eye, probably when he performs an ultimate tech or something. I don't think Hodi would be able to best Zoro on land either, hence the environment change. Oda probably wants to reserve that fight for Luffy.
