I like them all. I try to take them two at a time and have both whenever I can.
I used to be that way (all over dark girls), because subconsciously I wanted to be blacker, and I wanted my hair to be nappy so I could fit in as a little kid. When I started going through self actualization I got over that and started accepting my true self. Furthermore, I rejected a hispanic girl who a clicked with in high school because she was Mexican and I felt like that was a huge mistake, from that time on I've dated everybody. I'm a lot happier being proud of my actual self, and doing whatever the FUCK I wanna do, and liking whoever the FUCK I wanna like. Most of my recent girls have been lightskinned/mixed with speckles of darks, and other races.
I think lightskinned guys like dark girls more than dark guys WAAYYYY more. There's obviously psychological reasons for it too. We didn't have to deal with hating our dark skin and possibly really hard kinky hair. Furthermore, many of us subconsciously want to be blacker so we want to try to procreate a dark or darker skinned child. Same dynamic white girls who want to be black have, they want to be black so they make sure they find a black man to have kids with. The racially secure white girls often end up with lightskinned guys they can relate to more if they happen to go black. (not saying it can't be that way with darks)

I too have experienced this growing up, and compensated by keeping my hair cut low, for fear of flaunting my good hair. Did you ever have dark skinned peeps come up to you and ask if your straighten your hair, or use a "kit". I really hated that.

Yea yea yea, I'm not turning someone down who is outside of my preference who I am attracted to either....however.... I have a preference just like everybody else. If you choose to hide your preference due the internet or real life public scrutiny that's fine, but every fully functioning human being has a preference.
i do agree about core preferences...we all gravitate towards certain features...eyes, skin tone, hair length, chest size/shape, ass (a lot or a little), height...etc...
