It will never matter.

He was passionate about it

And his stans will never hear different

All his faults are forgivable

That is one fan base you do not debate with

Eminem Beyonce Rihanna Nicki Drake Nas Kobe LeBron etc... same thing

Fanatic in every sense.

I can debate with and it does matter, Tupac was wrong.

Hammer didn't "Sell Out" and he wasn't a sambo. Hammer made music that he wanted to makes music that he liked and it happened to cross over.

He didn't make commercial music for the masses with the intention of it to cross over.

So again, I did think Tupac was wrong.

No you said that it wasn't debatable and that it didn't matter.

And I'm saying that it's debatable in the sense that he was wrong and it does matter.

That muthafucka was wrong!

He was so wrong he apologized

but you heard the applause at the time?

And even now Pac fans flip like he was right as you see they doing in 2024.

Again I want to see how all these new drake haters gonna be in few months.

Yeah @largebillsonlyplease

Remember when I said there maybe might could be some type of similarities between drake and pac?

I'm banning myself for 3 hours.

I deserve the biggest feet whooping.
literally took a voice from beyond the grave....

as for Hammer - duality is real

like Pac said Hammer did dilute hiphop music -
but
Hammer was also taking care of his community in the best ways he knew how to

Yeah we saying that NOW

But at the time we were not trying to hear all that although we knew damn well Hammer was representing the Bay and supporting FAMILIES.

And look like I said we gonna always defend Pac no matter what wrong or right.

He trying to bring back the Baggy 90’s pants. The issue is he’s a 37 year old man and he looks like a fucking fool. That shit don’t work for niggas over 30.
That's skateboard culture though.

Btw them big ass pants are worn as a practicality. Beyond being better protection from falls them are among the most shopliftinest motherfuckers around.

nah it was years before I found out about how real Hammer is as a person

all I knew at the time was the culture in nyc was saying no to Hammer but
Ice T , NWA, Young MC, even Tone Loc got love and spins

I can tell you my people just didn't like his content nor his flow and super simple rhymes no matter how hard the track was

and while MTV was hyping Hammer with special events
a home boy was on the corner of Linden, standing on the cleaner's roof saying "rap is not pop..."

that same year Naughty had dropped a super commercial anthem to receive almost universal love and
even after multiple crossovers later -shit - I think they crossed over more times than Hammer
while being able to never compromise the art

my favourite era in hip hop was 88 to 94 - it was in middle of this era -deep in NJ and NYC - being around Native Tongues & Flava Unit etc is when Pac criticised Hammer
