Laurinburg Institute reflects a history of Excellence and Achievement. It is now the only Black institution of its kind in the United States. Started in 1904 by Emmanuel Monty and Tinny McDuffie, with only a small piece of swamp land and a dream of providing quality education and guidance for black children. That dream is being realized every day, but it has not been without a tremendous challenge. The Laurinburg Institute is a private, non-sectarian preparatory school offering residential education in grades 9 through 12. Capacity enrollment is 135 boys and girls from all over the United States and many foreign countries.
The leadership of the School has remained in the McDuffie family through three generations. Frank H. McDuffie, Sr. son of Emmanuel and Tinny was President from 1953-1990 and was succeeded by his son Frank H. "Bishop" McDuffie. The family has truly dedicated their lives and committed themselves to the education and welfare of young men and women from all walks of life.

<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <tbody><tr><td width="50"></td><td> 1. Plan A is the most cost efficient because it eliminates any interest having to be paid during the school year represented by the carrying cost. Parents should also note that irrespective of the payment plan they choose, there is a $200.00 nonrefundable deposit fee due September 1st to hold their child's place for the school year which will be credited to the student's account and deducted from the tuition cost.
Financial Aid/Work Study - Parents may request financial aid by simply making a written request while providing proof of income. We request an IRS 1040 form, or the income tax form showing the household income where the student is shown as a dependent. The written request should be a narrataive letter explaining and outlining why the request should be considered. </td></tr> <tr><td colspan="2">

Each student must provide an initial supply deposit for their account as it will cover the cost of such school mandated items such as prom, Christmas cotillion, some weekend activities, and fees for medical services as incurred. The fees that are deducted are not refundable. NOTE: that there will be no refunds of any type. No exception or reduction for late arrival or entrance, suspension, or expulsion. MOST VALUABLE LESSONS LEARNED @ pine forge:
rich ppl have more family issues than poor ppl, religious rich ppls daughters are super freaks...especially the sqr one's, rich pplz kids think they rich too...., rich pplz kidz be in the biggest scandals.... that fuck up regular ppls lives...learned how to eat better...havent eaten meat since my freshman
year..
i tried to fight it but...
.... i feel
tho.... so its all good..... i appreciate the structure that Adventist have in general.... out the gate... the women for the most part already know not to fuk wit pork so thats all good & the correct day to worship.... same reason i like Islam
....... & Catholicism is some bullshit! the catholic church is really wicked...... i started off in catholic school...white jesus was like
to me....
biggest scandal that i can remember:
dean of the mens hall got caught up fuckin to of the students...( they were hot...
)....they were jr's & sr's.... dont know if he got locked up.. but as soon as the news broke it was open season on his ass in the dorm...( he confiscated maaad shit from pplz....hot plates, walkmans, radios/boombox, tv's.....shit that made life in a dorm a lil better....he would have shake downs when shit got outta hand or when he wanted to prove a point... so we broke into his apt & took what we wanted!!!!!!

climbed over the wall to get what we wanted.... he came back to get his shit & was
.... but couldnt do shit about it.... most famous person in attendance.. joey from take 6...fri - sat sundown .....ONLY music you hear pretty much is whoever was singing...& you didnt sing unless you could really siiiiiiing!!!!!!! spread love type shit was going down all weekend long..........
if i had a daughter & wanted to & she wanted to go away to school.....i must say that having access to enough time to get to a location... to be secluded long enough... to fuck or suck ... is extremely challenging... but can be done.....it would be harder there ... than @ home.....ijs they had separate sidewalks when i was there.... & they were situated so that you could clearly see who was coming & going....... cant imagine what it would be like now with all the social media/ smart phn technology that damn sure didnt exist when i was in hs.....
