Funny… living in DC, I often wonder why whites I encounter love hockey and baseball but not basketball. The metro is swamped when the Caps play, sometimes for the Nats, never the Wizards. I feel like identity has a lot to do with it but it’s hard to say because the Wizards have been so perpetually awful.
