Hesitant on upgrading to a C8 - Z06 OR Z51.

Always do research... i called around to a bunch of dealerships/ visited a lot of Corvette forums.... the most common problem with the C8 Z51s are transmission issues. Just like the common problems with C7 Z06's are overheating issues... as well as C7 Z51's have the Torque tube issues (I can attest to that).

Of course a warranty is good to go...

I can afford to wait a few years...
Yup my C7 torque tube went out 5 months before trading it in for the C8. Parts was $2,200 labor was $1,200. C8 running good though every now and again the parking brake light will flicker. Maybe once every 5 months.

The C8 Z06 is FASTER Than a C7 ZR1?!? *SHOCKING 50-150MPH RACES!*

Thanks CurtDawg. I’m still trying to figure out how these YouTuber get first dibs on Z06? I know people been on the list since the C8 was revealed. They skipped over the C8 and still waiting.

Man I mess around and bought a 2017 Cadillac Escalade Platinum truck. Since this Z06 waiting list is in high demand. They having a hard time filling peoples orders even on a base C8. Never seen the car game this crazy in my life.

When in history you can have the income, credit and down payment, plus a C8 trade in…and still can’t get the car.

The starting price of the E-ray is $104,000 :eek2:
But yet the starting price of the Z06 is $106,000

Cot damn.....I don't know about that price !!! :smh:

I watched that last night and thought about posting it but didn’t.

Watched a C8 versus a Fort GT, the C8’s the truth!

Even with the really wide tires, the C8 Z06 is not that much faster than a Stingray
Taking off from a stoplight, the C8 Z06 will still lose traction
That exotic sound & the track experience are really the main reasons to buy it
If I was a stingray owner, it would be hard for me to justify spending $50,000+ more to upgrade to a Z06

.....Now the (all wheel drive) E-ray.....now thats a different story :)

For me it’s the look, that wing and of course roll on power. Off the line I’m gone, but a 50 roll on a Hellcat I jump out the get walk down. More about having the power just in case I need it. Overall us corvette owners drive like old grandmothers.

Not really surprising but

Oh shit.....this is basically car porn
:jackoff::jackoff::jackoff::jackoff:
That E-ray is a beast on the streets
Only a handful of non-electric cars are fuckin with it
Porsche 911 Turbo S
McLaren 720s
Maybe 1 or 2 Lambo's, or Ferrari's
But I wish the E-ray came with the Z06 wing & front dive planes though
And a better sounding exhaust

LEAKED C8 ZR1 info STRAIGHT from GM that CHANGES Everything!

Quick Summary:
Instead of the C8 ZR1 being a turbocharged version of a C8 Z06
New rumor is that its going to be...
A C8 Z06 with the all wheel drive hybrid system of the C8 E-ray

Debating getting a used low mileage C8 2LT in a few months vs waiting a year and getting a used low mileage McLaren 570s. Love the styling of the McLaren, but I'm wondering if I'll get more bang for my buck with the C8. definitely would have at least a $500-600 difference in monthly payments. And the C8 seems like a beast in it's own right. I'm not looking to track the car or race anybody, just a fan of aggressively styled cars. McLaren has been a dream car for me and the C8 has caught my eye since it came out. I currently make about 115-130k a year, looking to put around 20% down on either option. Currently own a 2015 Mustang and 2016 Hyundai Tuscon for the winter. Any opinions?

I’m in the same boat the McLaren 720s is my dream car. I can afford the monthly payments, but it would be TIGHT for my household budget….I mean not one thing could go wrong!!

Meanwhile I’ve own my (C8 2LT black)since 2021 of August. Car is a very fun car to drive, cruise in and nothing like that top coming off. Car get more attention than a pretty woman in the passenger seat. They compliment each other.

I paid brand new 72.5 MSRP no money down, took a year to receive it though. But I heard the list is way better now check with your Chevy dealer. And if you still interested in the McLaren sale the C8 for a profit. I just decided to keep minds.
