Here They Come!!! C8's are Being Delivered to Dealerships and Customers are Taking Ownership

Those cars will be bought and barely driven.

They will become collector cars and sit in some millionaires garage for a few years before it's passed off to the next person that will just do the same.

They will list for about 250K, but of course they will sell for close to 400K.

Yeah you know how those old ass white people are
Buy them, just to let it sit as "garage queens"
I think 2030 might be the last year for this generation though
So in a couple of years, these new ZR1X's should be at MSRP (no markup)

And word on the street is.....they might be coming out with a "X" version of the C8 Z06
Bruh.....that would probably be the PERFECT supercar
That screaming naturally aspirated engine
Plus the all wheel drive system up front
So you don't have to worry about traction issues on the street
And the front motors will give you that extra torque down low, thats missing from the current C8 Z06

:inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

If the transmissions hold up. They’re still dropping like flies out here in the chat rooms. One kat is on his 3rd in 5000 miles. Warranted, but…

Hey @badman32
Are you sure you still want that McLauren? ;)

As sexy as that is... With the trans issues, that would be a wait and see purchase if I was to go down that road. At least a year or two to see what the initial production reliability is sounding like, and you know the markup is gonna be crazy lol. So McLaren still on the table for me, especially since I'm starting to see C8s be a bit more common in my area. I'll see 2-3 C8s in a week, 2-3 McLarens in a year, if that.

Great 1250 horse power, pass me the keys so that I can

I passed on it. Almost drove out of state to get one but those transmission issues are rampant as fuck! I won’t touch the c8 period; even under warranty.

Hopefully with this new 2026 refresh coming out soon.....
They also strengthened the transmissions as well :dunno:
I remember in 2016, when Ford came out with the Shelby GT350 (flat plane crank engine)
Those shits were blowing up all of the time
But Ford finally got things under control, 4 years later in 2020

Damn they're that bad?
Yes. The message boards and chats have weekly stories. It’s the worst transmission they’ve used, so you do think if the stingray is killing trannies the ZR1 won’t? At some point there was a backup of broke cars taking weeks if not a month or more to fix. They needed transmissions to complete build orders so they didn’t have enough to send to dealers and keep up production. It’s a shit show and I REAAAAALLY wanted one. Not chance. Fuck that. I’m getting an AMG GT55 soon.

Dayum, seriously Dayum! I didn’t know that it was that bad.

Thanks for the info!

If you still want a C8, make sure it’s your second or third card, is fully warranted, and you get rid of it before the warranty expires. This is the least reliable corvette in recent history. Possibly worse than Range Rovers. They are a shit show. I passed on them. Can’t be trusted. Even when under warranty, it can take weeks or more than a month to even get a transmission because they can’t keep up with production and replacements.
