Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

"Body Double: That CG face was very distracting. It was such an important scene and the fact that it wasn’t really Lena Headey took away from it. "

Knew those tits were too nice to be hers. She also comes off as a fucking assholish prude which made me leery of her actually agreeing to do that entire scene nude. Unprofessional bitch.

C'mon son Sansa ain't dead ya don't remember when Jamie pushed the lil man from the ledge in season 1 it happened at winterfell and he fell on his back and survived Sansa and reek jumped forward onto snow

Naaa, I understand.... It's just in a position of leadership, no matter how "right" your decision is, if you don't have any supporters in you and your position...you are fucked. Remember, Lord Commanders are elected by the Nights watch, not appointed. Kind of like pirate captains. You are vulnerable to mutiny if you don't have support of those under you. And thats exactly what happened.

Frankly I believe Mel brings Jon back, he takes the Wildings along with Mel and some supporters and they go to attack Winterfell.

Whomever's left at the wall I expect to be slaughtered. They don't understand the threat they are under and won't until it's too late.

^^^ Thats not what happened! Because if it were then there would have been a vote for a new "Commander" and Jon wouldn't have been killed under the cover of darkness by a FEW traitors. Let's not try and twist things here. That group that killed Jon by their actions don't speak for everyone!

So stupid! Part of what has made this show so brilliant is their authenticity. Don't crap like this just takes away that much more from it. I'm not surprised and knew before reading this information that it wasn't her. If anyones ever watch any of her interviews its very apparent that shes a trip to work with.

They should of just saved the damn CGI money and had her do the scene without showing the nude parts....stupid!

So nobody thought that how Stannis went out was kinda gangsta though? Facing an army 3 times larger than his? He says fuck it... raises his sword?

Nobody has any ounce of respect or admiration for that dog! Just like those few cowards of the nights watch. Gansta would have been him telling the red-headed lady "Fuck You!" then and proceeding to burn her at the stake! Stannis gets NO DAP!

If anything his death pisses me off! This show has far too often given the Bad guys a much more graceful death than the people they've cause harm too.

I liked how he didn't even argue with Brianne. He said "do your duty". He understood. I liked that. I liked Stannis. He sucked as a dude but to me he was just a dude really. When it came to hard choices he didn't have his morals then. Easy shit following the law when it really meant nothing. Is easy for most people. And that's exactly what he turned out to be.

His standards crumbled when it came to the hard shit. But i still liked him a lil bit. That was a warrior move.

I don't think Stannis is dead. If he did die why not show it. Fuck this David Chase Sopranos shit :lol:I hate cliffhangers.

I expected to see his head lopped off, but they refused to show it. Which makes me think maybe she had a last minute second thought. And plan on offering Stannis as a trade for Sansa. Taking care of two vows at the same time.
. That's a good plan.

But it only benefits Brienne.... So it wouldn't work.. :smh:

(Especially since it involves trading with the backstabbing Boltons.)

"Never win the battle.. and lose the war" at the same time. :smh:

The Boltons would never accept that trade. :smh:
Not in a million years. :smh:

First, because Sansa is the key to holding the North. And everyone knows it.

Second, because the Boltons felt all along that they would defeat Stannis..... Badly.

Hell, Ramsay said they didn't even need an army to beat him. :smh:.... Just 20 good men.

So if they traded Stannis for Sansa... The Boltons would be 'winning the battle (against Stannis, which they already knew was 'in the bag' anyways)... While losing the war (by giving away the North) at the same time.

People won't get it. He's a father, yes, but he's the KING.

That comes with hard choices, and in the end he didn't really have a play.

If he doesn't sacrifice his daughter, everyone dies anyway as they didn't have the resources to go back or go forward. He could've sent his daughter ahead, but as the King he would have to travel with the group - he'd have been done for.

It's easy to say what he did was monstrous, but again as the King he can't think about his family alone, but for his troops, for the war and what he's fighting for, and what it all means.

I dont think Stannis is dead, the show runners said if you dont see a character DIE, then assume nothing.

so brienne just said fuck it

im not going to kill you! fuck my oath. doesnt seem like her style.

Jamie got introduced to his daughter then taken away. Knew it was a poison kiss. She ain't sweet.

Red broad coming back cause she ran as fast as she could away. why didn't you stay and let the lord of the light guide you to victory? Anybody listening to what she has to say at this point deserves to die.

for a second i thought the ruler(prince) had something to do with it.

how he gave his sis in law the nod to go make nice w/the young lannister girl. but then he also

sent his son with them. i dont think he would risk his life in that manner.

& these peeps keeps talking some shes going to bring jon snow back!

his ass is out! he aint coming back!

i forgot she played the queen in 300..... v v v

Yup, McNaulty ripped that from behind in that movie too ..

Did we ever find out what Littlefinger and Gramma Tyrell were planning, or is it assumed that they conspired to have Cersei arrested? Or was it more about future plans for the realm and alliances?

When did i miss he was a King? From everything I've seen he made a claim to the position and as of yet isn't universally recognized as "The KING!"

Also, keep on talking yourself into he had a hard decision to make and presumably he made the only play he could make. The lesson has been given and yet the students still don't get it.

Any presumed King that would kill his own is a King to no one!

Also, least we forget it was his decisions, the "KINGS" decisions that placed him and his army in those precarious position time after time! But lets continue to pretend like he's some great "King" that made sound decisions and just got screwed into terrible outcomes...

Further, I might add, if the decision was so sound why did he feel the need to send Sr.Davos away? Huh? Surely someone as loyal as him to "King" Stannis and his cause could see the "no choice" strategy you've humble embraced that "King" Stannis had to make.

Stannis gets NO DAP!

I believe Lord Commanders are elected to serve for life. No election can take place until the previous one dies.

But I'll just agree to disagree on this one.

I keep telling you guys Jon is undergoing the classic hero's journey. Google it.

He's not dead. Melisandre came back to castle black, and it was the sacrifice of Stannia' daughter that allowed her to get back so quickly. She realized that stannis wasn't the one and departed.

I just don't think we'll see that happen next season until the end of the season.

Remember, Jon took an oath to be in the nights watch. He would never break that oath. There is only one honorable way out of the nights watch and that's death.

So he's dead. He's no longer in the nights watch. He will be reborn I believe as Jon Stark or Jon Targaryean.

Jon is not the kind of character that would die a traitor's death. If he really would die it would be as a hero. Mark my words. He'll be back.

You want to make a friendly wager on Jon snow coming back? Next season will resume Bran's story, castle black and the white walkers will take a back seat for most of next season as theyll continue wth the main stories That was set up in the finale and season 7 is where the battle with the white walkers will really be.

I don't think Stannis is dead. If he did die why not show it. Fuck this David Chase Sopranos shit :lol:I hate cliffhangers.

Stannnis is dead. Like someone else said it's highly unlikely that Brienne would have such a strong bond to Renly, talk for seasons on end that she'll kill Stannis, tell Stannis herself that she had this oath that she will keep, pull out a sword NAMED Oathkeeper, and then NOT kill him....

Makes zero logical sense.

I know the general rule is that you have to see someone dead on screen, but that's only after you consider all the factors surrounding the death. They didn't cut to Stannis because that scene was the climax for Brienne's oath, not Stannis' life. They gave Stannis a good death because he still dispatched two men despite being severely injured

Say we were in a group of runaway slaves seeking freedom. We grew up seeing CACs whip, beat, and rape our families our whole lives. The thing is, we don't know the direction to run to or how to get food/shelter. The main dude in our crew that helped us escape says he knows a "good slaveowner" in a plantation a mile away and suggests we go there and ask him to stay on his plantation for a week. Would you roll with him?

That would be from the wildlings perspective not the people on the watch... who killed their commander. the watch would be the slave owner's in this situation because its their "plantation" and they're not rolling anywhere... so what is it you're talking about? lol

what you meant to say is say you're a slave owner and some rebellious slaves got free and did all the killing that you're talking about and then one of the slave owner's suggested you take the slaves in for shelter because of a war that's coming and you need all the men you can to fight...would you be ok with that.

that's what this scenario was not what you said.

Wonder what will become of arya? Maybe she'll just grab a different face.

The Starks are a cursed fuckin family.

that'd be cool!

grab a face & be out!

Gotta wonder what happened to Ghost.

I expected to see his head lopped off, but they refused to show it. Which makes me think maybe she had a last minute second thought. And plan on offering Stannis as a trade for Sansa. Taking care of two vows at the same time.

sansa bounced! they dont have her to trade!

So nobody thought that how Stannis went out was kinda gangsta though? Facing an army 3 times larger than his? He says fuck it... raises his sword?

he had no choice!

nah not gangsta!

So now only 1 Baratheon left on the show now. I wonder will gendry end up being charge of storms end?

yeah that house is done for!

no one knows who he is.

-whats with all that lightening make-up on missandi?

-whats with jooras beef with tyrion?

-stannis was just tragic!

-if jon is saved wont he be a degraded version?

other guy said each time he was brought back he was a lesser version.

-how will there be new show material, if books & show are caught up?

if anything it's going perfectly

Yup. coming right together a-team style.

Forgot all about that. My man about to lose two fingers atleast. :smh::lol:

Shit they gonna have to find him first. Just stay at that wall.

I think next season Cersei going full beast-bitch mode :smh:

I hope Frankenstein puts in some serious fucking work.

Yup, McNaulty ripped that from behind in that movie too ..

you mean raped... he raped her in that movie.

Yup he'll be back. had a night to think about it he'll def be back. his death was nothing or felt nothing like the others.

Stannnis is dead.

I don't know Stannis might yet be alive. We'll see.

I can't see Stannis being alive, but I wouldn't be surprised.

His injuries, the weather, Boltons rummaging about...if anything Brienne also did him a favor killing him.

It would be too many people that are "dead not dead" IMO.

His story felt like it was more wrapped up than Jon's.

He talked to his daughter about doing whatever he could do to save her from Grayscale only to sacrifice her to the Red God to win a war. His wife committed suicide and Melisandre abandoned him. When he saw the Bolton army approaching you could tell he knew it was over, his face showed that he knew this was it, but he raised his sword because he's their king and would have to die on the battlefield also.

Jon's story points to him coming back. Aemon told Jon early in the season "kill the boy and let the man be born" Sam told Gilly that he never worries about Jon, he always comes back. And out of everyone who's faced the white walkers or knows about them - he's the only one brave and strong enough to lead any army. There's no character currently in the show who would fittingly lead. Dany is not a leader in the same vein as Jon, she's a politician. After Hardhomme and the battle we saw there's no way you let a character like that out with a whimper. Thats just not good storytelling, no matter how much you'd want to go against convention.

If not next season, then yeah, season 7

This is why most men get in trouble...:lol::lol::lol:
YEP:yes: - and she young too, you know she's wild as hell.

if they still respect her as their "queen" and that's an interesting "if" then it wouldn't hurt not to be wearing a ring that shows she's been "taken" by another

Or, she knows her aids and subjects will be looking for her and wants to leave them something to track. Dropping the ring says she was there... and alive, it's a bread crumb.

"Body Double: That CG face was very distracting. It was such an important scene and the fact that it wasn’t really Lena Headey took away from it. "

From my understanding she wasn't up for the naked walking through the crowd part. So they used a body double. But they should have just shot that from afar and we would have gotten the jist of what was happening.
