according to Dothraki custom If her husband dies before her, the khaleesi is taken to Vaes Dothrak, the holy city of the Dothraki people, to serve as a counselor for all khalasars as one of the dosh khaleen.
Other than the beginning of the scene with the hitting of the lil girls
Arya's assassination of the first on her list was awesome. Loved how quick she jumped him too. He didn't even have a chance.

Outside of maybe two episodes this was by far the weakest season. IMO, part of it is because killing off so many amazing characters is starting to catch up with the show. Nobody's bench is that deep!
1. Dorne was just dumb. Those titties couldn't save that arc from being pointless.
2. Sansa in Winterfell. Other than to show us how cruel they could be to a long suffering character. What did it give us?
Those two story arcs had the most changes from the book. I don't think that's a coincidence
Outside of that some really good important stuff happened
1. More White Walker story development
2. Battle at Hardhomme!
3. Dany and Tyrion!
4. Rise of the Faith of the Seven
5. Cersei humbled!
6. The tragic fall of Stannis. He was the last of original 5 kings (Not gonna count Tommen) still fighting for control of Westeros.
True! Remember my post from earlier talking about Stannis and his sacrificies? For everyone of them he makes, he loses more on the backend.
Sacrificied his daughter for a clear shot at Winterfell, but ended up losing:
-Half his men and horses that was left
-Wife killed herself
-Melisandre bounced
-Bolton's at Winterfell were waiting and destroyed his army
-Stannis himself could possibly be dead
These kats are supposedly all about their "oaths" PERIOD! Their lives, their honor, their very duty is built into that oath...It's the only way their way of life could exist..it's the only piece of fabric that holds their already delicate way of life together. So show me where in all of that does it say if you are upset at another brother of the knight watch, particularly a Commander, for a decision he made that it's okay for you to stab him down like a dog in the middle of the night?
Is it so hard to understand that killing one of your own in that kind of fashion is worst that any death at the hands of any wildlings? Is it so hard to understand the type of chaos an action like that would cause within the knights watch?
Tell me again how it's okay to do that because your upset at a command decision?

I get what you're saying...but from their point of view, he's the one who broke his oath. He's laid with a wildling woman and instead of defending the wall from enemies, he has let them through.
The punishment of breaking the night's watch oath is death (as evidenced in the very first episode).
They are just naive to the real threat thats coming.
I don't fault the kid. If I watched people kill and eat my parents and everyone I knew,I wouldn't squash beef either.Keep in mind, none of them have seen the White Walkers and believe that the key is defending the wall.Letting people you don't trust behind the wall compromises everything they have believed in.
I don't think Stannis is dead.I think Brienne will keep him alive to get Melissandre.

i dont know how much they switch up from the book but this is the bad side about it. because you making people who are not relevant in the book relevant to fit the story. then when the die people will cry.

their point of view is retarded. he explained to them WHY he's doing all of this. he explained that this shit has nothing to do with trying to build a relationship with them. it has everything to do with needing number so they can try and fight the white walkers and they were butt hurt. too butt hurt to see it. too butt hurt to even peep that the dude that lost the election is the driving force behind the bullshit.

fuck seeing them. the people who have seen them are telling you they are coming. whole direction of that place has to change now. if you don't like what the commander does you can just kill him now. they're no better than wildlings
Lol looks like Bronn was about to say fuck it and stay in Dorne when Tyene whispered in his ear that he "doesnt need a good girl, he needs a bad pussy".

This is what the poster is not understanding. Jon is a "Commander" that makes decision on protecting all of man-kind. Technically, he doesn't have to explain any of his decision to them. Their damn job is to obey his commands as they have sworn and keep that shit moving. Don't like it? Tough shit you shouldn't have joined the military. This isn't a democracy as the poster is alluding too.
The fact that he told them why it was so important shows that he was more than on top of his duty(another point the poster is not getting). That duty being, protecting everyone and saving as much of his soldiers lives as possible. In order to give them a chance it required "Temporarily" working with the Wildlings and utilizing any other strategies that seemed necessary..You can't win a war against the undead by remaining static!
Further working with the Wildlings was their orders and theirs was to follow it to a tee. Don't like the decision? Feel you could be a better Commander? Great, then challenge for the position like a real sworn officer would and not be a bunch of pussies in the night. Whose best recourse was to trap him and gang him up because they knew their grievances were bullshit that would not hold up with the other knight's watch and secondly none of them could take Jon on in fair combat!
Reek and Sansa jumped into a large pile of snow.
they are not dead.
Melissandre broke camp because I think she 'foresaw' what was gonna happen to Jon Snow. She said the Lord of Light showed her 'Bolton Banners burning' in her fiery 'crystal ball'... but she mistook that vision for Stannis' success... when it was really someone else's (Jon Snow, I think )
When Stannis was told that half the men left overnight.... the look on her face gave it away.... and she realized her vision was someone else's victory. Not Stannis.
She had the same look on her face when she arrived at Castle Black, and got stopped by Davos.
She knew that she made a mistake asking Stannis to sacrifice his own daughter because he was gonna lose anyway.
Yup, Stannis got his head severed by Brienne.
Stannis' ambition was his ultimate downfall.
He killed his own brother AND daughter.
Which caused his wife to commit suicide.
Got THOUSANDS of men killed in 2 (large-scale) battles that failed miserably.
Before the other half of his army (that was still left) walked out on him... because of his (amoral) behavior.
Got in heavy debt to the Iron Bank 'Loan Sharks'... with absolutely no 'Plan B' to repay them.
Lost the guy who was his 'wingman' + 'most trusted advisor' + 'best friend'.
AND managed to lose his 'side-chic' ..... all at the same time.
Bleeding to Death in the Snow. Unable to Walk.
With no horse to make it somewhere safe & recover from his wounds.
Financially Destitute. Morally Bankrupt. His Army Broken.
After losing EVERYONE who ever cared about him.
With NO CHANCE of ever taking the Iron Throne....
He had nothing left to live for anyway.
Plus, Brienne don't play no games.
(We didn't have to literally 'see it'... to know that she did it )
Cuz once he 'admitted' that he used 'blood magic' to kill Renly... (which TOTALLY CONFIRMED what she had believed all along) it was a wrap for him... and he knew it.
Don't forget... this was Brienne's 'moment of vindication'... ever since she pledged her service to Lady Stark, in Season 2.
For 3 seasons now... Brienne has lived with the guilt of feeling like she FAILED Renly... and FAILED Lady Stark by not keeping her vows to keep her alive, or keep her kids safe.
And Caitlyn had always promised to 'let her off the leash'.. whenever the time was right.
Since avenging Renly was the ONLY thing Brienne ever wanted for HERSELF.... she was not gonna FAIL again... and not fulfill another vow she took. No Way.
Dany didn't get 'captured'.
She was just REUNITED with all the Dothrakis who left her in Season 1.
When Khal Drogo died.. and she used the witch's 'blood magic' to try to save his life..... the majority of the Khalasar abandoned her... leaving just a 'devoted handful' behind.
But that was BEFORE the dragons were born.
By now... damn near everyone in Westeros has HEARD about / or actually SEEN them dragons.
They have also heard about her freeing all those slaves.
They just recognized that their QUEEN was still alive.
It was a celebration... a 'horseback' celebration... of finding her.... and wanting to 'accept her'.
All the folks who doubted her and LEFT... are 'true believers' by now.
She got a Khalasar again.
With over 40,000+ HorseLord soldiers.
Plus the 'Unsullied Army'.
its not about them being near Stanis...Stanis is fucked...Melissandre sniffed that in the wind and rolled out. The point I was making is that we've seen other followers of the Red god wield power to great effect...to the effect of resurrection...and we know that Melissandre can wield Red god power....and she just happens to be where Jon Snow's bleeding carcass is.

my entire point was about her and stannis and what she had him do and how she left him high and dry when the shit got thick. i wasn't commenting on the religion i was commenting on her actions, what she demanded from him ,what he ultimately lost and how shady and fucked up she is.
that's all. i don't disagree with the theory or none of it i was just shitting on her as a person.

I felt that when you said it and stated as much....she's a motherfucker...but I believe when its all said and done shes gonna be one you want in your corner. Stanis did the wrong things for the right reasons and the right things for the wrong reasons. Melissandre is just a power broker....she was never there for Stanis...she was there for the proximity to and opportunity to be an agent of power. Stanis made his choices...not Mellisandre. He brought on some real bad juju and paid the price...whether Brienne did him or not...he;s done. Mellisandre assessed real quick that those cards were a folding hand with Stanis and she made her way to the next best opportunity. She's the kind of character that makes this show great....you hate her for the foulness that she's complicit in...but I have a feeling her particular brand of wtf will be an asset before its all done. Its the same story arc I see with the Wildlings....Theon/Reek....shit maybe even the Boltons. We've been witnessing 5 seasons of treachery amongst the living....and seen the worst of what people will do for power. But its gonna be a whole new equation when its everything breathing vs everything undead. All those foul tendencies are gonna lend to the story I suspect.

Say we were in a group of runaway slaves seeking freedom. We grew up seeing CACs whip, beat, and rape our families our whole lives. The thing is, we don't know the direction to run to or how to get food/shelter. The main dude in our crew that helped us escape says he knows a "good slaveowner" in a plantation a mile away and suggests we go there and ask him to stay on his plantation for a week. Would you roll with him?
That's what the Sand Snakes and Oberyn's chick want. A war between Dorne and the Lannisters. If the prince is killed by the Lannisters as retaliation for Myrcella's death, then Prince Doran will be compelled to attack them. All of his other relatives have died due to the Lannisters.
