Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

whats crazy now is how the ones you hate are the last best hope....

Melissandre is Jon Snow's last best hope...

Theon/Reek is Sansa's last best hope...

The Boltons at Winterfell + the Wildlings are the North's last best hope...

I feel like this season was great and probably the greatest setup for the next season. Every story line is set to go epic at this point.

Because it sets up the plot for next season.

Beric Dondarrion was resurrected by Thoros of Myr, who's a priest of the same god as Melisandre. I think either she or the Night's King will resurrect Jon.
That certainly makes sense (I'm hoping ).
You can't have Jon do all of that work and get killed by a lil fag named Ollie.
The Nights King definitely took notice of Jon Snow. He'll hopefully be back one way or the other, I hope.

.

Dany didn't get 'captured'. :smh:

She was just REUNITED with all the Dothrakis who left her in Season 1.
When Khal Drogo died.. and she used the witch's 'blood magic' to try to save his life..... the majority of the Khalasar abandoned her... leaving just a 'devoted handful' behind.

But that was BEFORE the dragons were born.

By now... damn near everyone in Westeros has HEARD about / or actually SEEN them dragons.

They have also heard about her freeing all those slaves.

They just recognized that their QUEEN was still alive.

It was a celebration... a 'horseback' celebration... of finding her.... and wanting to 'accept her'.

All the folks who doubted her and LEFT... are 'true believers' by now.

She got a Khalasar again.
With over 40,000+ HorseLord soldiers.
Plus the 'Unsullied Army'.

I don't believe it works that way fam.
If she was their "Queen" they would've never left her in the first place when Khal Drogo died in season 1.

Also that may not even be her original Khalisar. There are other Khals riding around pillaging and raping shit.

She's their captive , probably

Ive never liked the storytelling surrounding her character. Everything always seems to align just right for her and frankly its just insulting to my intellect. Its funny that she always has people willing to do the work for her, to die for her, and she just comes in with her blonde hair, pale skin, and "good ideals" and rules all these people of color. Frees all these people of color, brings ,modern society to these savages. I mean seriously. Shes not overly guiling, doesnt know how to rule, isnt cutthroat, most of the seasons her dragons havent even been mature/follow her lead. Yet the stars alway align and she comes out on top. In all seriousness, absolutely nothing she has done should inspire that kind of loyalty, yet it always happens. I hate that shit. Watch. Shes come out on top next season too.

I can't believe people are feeling sorry for Cersei, she's been shitting on people, since she was a kid and yet when it's her turn to feel humiliated, people want to feel sorry for her ass....:hmm::hmm::hmm::hmm:

Thought for sure they used a merkin. Oh well, body double has nice tits...

http://www.ew.com/article/2015/06/14/game-thrones-walk-shame

The sequence took three grueling days to shoot, and while Headey might not have been naked herself during all the shots (a body double was used), she still had to pass through the hostile jeering mud-slinging crowd over and over again, trying to silently convey a progressive journey of complex emotions as Cersei reaches her lowest point—then ultimately finds a spark of strength as she’s lifted up by her resurrected savior, The Mountain.

I feel no sympathy for Cersei nor doI think that she was finally humbled.

That's not the look of a person who was just humbled.
That's the look of a person who just finished making her mental checklist of every person who threw something at her during her walk of shame and is planning to rain down fire and brimstone on each and ever one of them.

Reek and Sansa jumped into a large pile of snow.
they are not dead. :smh:

Sansa's death was the only good guy death on the night that made me happy.
Her whole life has been downhill ever since leaving Winterfell in season one.
Choosing to take her own life before giving Ramsay a half Stark heir was the only good option left on the table for character.

They better not turn this into Assassin's Creed.

People in real life don't survive shit like this just because they had a soft pile of snow to land on.

It's possible Theon/Reek sacrificed himself for her, with his body taking the brunt of the landing. Guess we'll find out next year.

The season finale was crazy!!..i believe that jon snow will be back but fuck the nightwatchers!!..:smh::smh:..good to see Cersei got shame like she did..she deserve that shit!!.also, good to see Cersei naked!!..nice tits..:yes:

can't wait for next season!!..it's going to be crazy next season!!..:dance:

With the exception of Davos and Stannis storyline, everything is from the book even though it's slightly different...

everything is from it but not everything was in it...many book readers and NON-book readers alike have questioned the pacing of this season...it's def a fair comment imo

yeah..i noticed that too...

something about that scene...didn't look quite right...it was like the lighting on her face..versus on her body...didn't quite match...

it's possible cuz her body sure as hell surprised me...esp. those tits

This is what the poster is not understanding. Jon is a "Commander" that makes decision on protecting all of man-kind. Technically, he doesn't have to explain any of his decision to them. Their damn job is to obey his commands as they have sworn and keep that shit moving. Don't like it? Tough shit you shouldn't have joined the military. This isn't a democracy as the poster is alluding too.

The fact that he told them why it was so important shows that he was more than on top of his duty(another point the poster is not getting). That duty being, protecting everyone and saving as much of his soldiers lives as possible. In order to give them a chance it required "Temporarily" working with the Wildlings and utilizing any other strategies that seemed necessary..You can't win a war against the undead by remaining static!

Further working with the Wildlings was their orders and theirs was to follow it to a tee. Don't like the decision? Feel you could be a better Commander? Great, then challenge for the position like a real sworn officer would and not be a bunch of pussies in the night. Whose best recourse was to trap him and gang him up because they knew their grievances were bullshit that would not hold up with the other knight's watch and secondly none of them could take Jon on in fair combat!

Naaa, I understand.... It's just in a position of leadership, no matter how "right" your decision is, if you don't have any supporters in you and your position...you are fucked. Remember, Lord Commanders are elected by the Nights watch, not appointed. Kind of like pirate captains. You are vulnerable to mutiny if you don't have support of those under you. And thats exactly what happened.

Frankly I believe Mel brings Jon back, he takes the Wildings along with Mel and some supporters and they go to attack Winterfell.

Whomever's left at the wall I expect to be slaughtered. They don't understand the threat they are under and won't until it's too late.

Melissandre broke camp because I think she 'foresaw' what was gonna happen to Jon Snow. She said the Lord of Light showed her 'Bolton Banners burning' in her fiery 'crystal ball'... but she mistook that vision for Stannis' success... when it was really someone else's (Jon Snow, I think :dunno:)

When Stannis was told that half the men left overnight.... the look on her face gave it away.... and she realized her vision was someone else's victory. Not Stannis.

She had the same look on her face when she arrived at Castle Black, and got stopped by Davos.

She knew that she made a mistake asking Stannis to sacrifice his own daughter because he was gonna lose anyway. :(

Yup, Stannis got his head severed by Brienne.

Stannis' ambition was his ultimate downfall.

He killed his own brother AND daughter. :smh:
Which caused his wife to commit suicide. :smh:
Got THOUSANDS of men killed in 2 (large-scale) battles that failed miserably. :smh:
Before the other half of his army (that was still left) walked out on him... because of his (amoral) behavior. :smh:
Got in heavy debt to the Iron Bank 'Loan Sharks'... with absolutely no 'Plan B' to repay them. :smh:
Lost the guy who was his 'wingman' + 'most trusted advisor' + 'best friend'.:smh:
AND managed to lose his 'side-chic' ..... all at the same time.

Bleeding to Death in the Snow. Unable to Walk.
With no horse to make it somewhere safe & recover from his wounds.
Financially Destitute. Morally Bankrupt. His Army Broken.
After losing EVERYONE who ever cared about him. :smh:

With NO CHANCE of ever taking the Iron Throne....
He had nothing left to live for anyway. :smh:

Plus, Brienne don't play no games. :smh:
(We didn't have to literally 'see it'... to know that she did it :smh:)

Cuz once he 'admitted' that he used 'blood magic' to kill Renly... (which TOTALLY CONFIRMED what she had believed all along) it was a wrap for him... and he knew it. :itsawrap:

Don't forget... this was Brienne's 'moment of vindication'... ever since she pledged her service to Lady Stark, in Season 2.

For 3 seasons now... Brienne has lived with the guilt of feeling like she FAILED Renly... and FAILED Lady Stark by not keeping her vows to keep her alive, or keep her kids safe.

And Caitlyn had always promised to 'let her off the leash'.. whenever the time was right.

Since avenging Renly was the ONLY thing Brienne ever wanted for HERSELF.... she was not gonna FAIL again... and not fulfill another vow she took. :smh: No Way.

Lets not get carried away here. Ppl didnt just start following her simply because she's a pretty face. Ppl started following her after she walked into a burning pyre and stayed there all night without a scratch. How do you expect someone to walk away from that miracle, especially when they have nowhere else to go? Ppl started worshipping her after she became the mother of dragons, who in that world are thought to have been extinct.I know some posters hate the book/show comparisons, but in the book it is even more pronounced that her rule of mereen is falling apart before she is saved by drogo.

Since when do they need 40,000 Dothrakis to 'capture' a single, unarmed female?

Even if it was a DIFFERENT Khalasar... Do you think these Dothrakis who rape & pillage and take whatever they want.... needed 'all that backup' to handle Daeneris?

Just ONE single rider could have subdued her & slung her ass over his horse.

But they ALL swirled around her for SEVERAL minutes. because nobody could 'capture' her single-handedly. :smh: so they had to make sure they got into the 'proper formation' to approach her.

All 40,000 of them.

And yea.... They would have left her BEFORE her dragons were born.... But any Dothraki who saw her climb out of that fire unharmed in season 1... With those 3 baby dragons.... was on 'Team Khaleesi' for LIFE.

The original rag tag group that followed Dany were basically her entourage and personal bodyguards. Under the Dothrhaki tradition, they were to continue to serve her until she joined her husband Drogo in the afterlife. So in a way, when she didn't die, they were still obliged to continue to serve her, but I bet they all feel better about it now that she has dragons.

With the exception of Barristan and Dario, almost everyone one of her followers is either someone who was her servant or someone she freed from captivity. I don't even think you can count Jorah, because if he was only there originally to spy on her for a pardon.

c`mon simply...

a tv show with dragons , walking dead people, people dying & coming back to life, witches & giants & u cant believe somebody living after jumping off the top of a wall........

and yeah there is a reason they didnt show the outcome because one or both survived the jump...

tumblr_npzhwgFiiQ1s95j2so1_r1_540.png

if they still respect her as their "queen" and that's an interesting "if" then it wouldn't hurt not to be wearing a ring that shows she's been "taken" by another

She's not their queen. She is a former khaleesi. But the Dothraki horde that's there belongs to another Khal. She's really just a nobody at this point to them.

I expected to see his head lopped off, but they refused to show it. Which makes me think maybe she had a last minute second thought. And plan on offering Stannis as a trade for Sansa. Taking care of two vows at the same time.
