lose? no, i just did a resync with iTunes and they were restored. As far as my contacts, I sync with google and mobile me so they were all there.. But as far as the apple, I did have to re-enter any login and configuration data which was a pain in the ass.. preferences were lost too like wifi settings

i havent noticed a difference in speed. It was fast with both the restore method and setup as new phone method.

Got mine to work.....headphones just needed a re-charge.
I'm starting to have doubts about this being the final version.....my backup is taking forever during the sync. Might be because of some apps not updated for 3.0 because a few won't load.

Seriously, I still got an iphone 2g with a t-mobile sim card and I want to know is it safe for me to upgrade my shit. I know i can still jailbreak it, but will it still be unlocked?
